(Minghui.org) Since it took power in 1949, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has suppressed Chinese people and endangered the world. In fact, it is against humanity and against the divine.
No Regard for Human Nature or the Divine
For thousands of years, mankind respected nature and followed traditional values. It was especially the case in ancient China, where the harmony of heaven, earth, and mankind was well preserved. Confucianism, for example, advocated Benevolence, Righteousness, Courtesy, Wisdom, and Faith. Taoism emphasized letting go of bad thoughts and returning to one’s true nature. Buddhism taught one to be kind to others.
But communism discarded all these. Karl Marx was against faith systems and said, “Religion is the opium of the people.” Mao Zedong remarked more explicitly, “Battling with heaven is endless joy, fighting with the earth is endless joy, and struggling with humanity is endless joy.”
Consistent with Mao’s words, the CCP always cares about itself, not people’s lives. During the Cultural Revolution, it destroyed traditional values and pitted one group of people against another, stirring up hatred between coworkers, neighbors, and even family members. With the draconian zero-COVID lockdown, it locked people in buildings even when earthquakes hit or fires broke out. While demanding CCP members to follow such “Party Spirit,” it made them defy nature and heaven by committing bad deeds without realizing they were doing wrong. Furthermore, the Party censors information and manipulates public opinion to mislead citizens, including Party members.
Rejecting the CCP Will Help Us Get Back on Track
Communism also has different definitions of mankind compared to traditional values. Emperor Taizong of the Tang Dynasty, for example, told his children that, “To evaluate a person’s conduct, the most important is virtue.” In Di Fan, a collection of writings for his children, he explained in detail. “During these 13 years while being an emperor, I have been refraining myself from going on trips for leisure or indulging myself in sensory pleasure at home,” he wrote. “Born in the royal palace, you should know imperial precedent should start with being strict with themselves.”
That is, by cherishing virtue, people would maintain a relatively high moral standard. Together with the belief of “good is rewarded with good, and evil meets evil,” they would pay attention to their conduct and mind nature.
But communism struck down all these things. “The history of hitherto existing society is the history of class struggle,” wrote Marx in The Communist Manifesto. Mao Zedong also said, “With eight hundred million people, how can it work without struggle?” It was apparent that hatred and brutality was the central theme for communists, from Marx to the Soviet Union, and to the CCP.
“Another similarly famous saying from Mao was that a campaign like the Cultural Revolution should be conducted ‘every seven or eight years.,” wrote Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, “Repetitive use of force is an important means for the CCP to maintain its rule in China. The goal of using force is to create terror. Every struggle and movement has served as an exercise in terror, so that the Chinese people are in a constant state of fear, become submissive, and are gradually enslaved under the Party’s control.”
Ending the CCP would return mankind to a peaceful, safe, and normal life.
Walking out of the Maze of Lies
One may wonder how a vicious regime like the CCP could be adopted by Chinese people. It was a long process and, to some degree, can be described as an effort of yin zhen zhi ke (drinking poison to quench thirst).
After the Opium War, which took place between 1830 and 1860, China as a nation was weakened and many people were looking for a path forward, especially after the Qing Dynasty’s collapse in 1912. Intellectuals and the general public were searching for a quick-fix to boost China, and the “success” of the Soviet Union seemed to be an option – the viciousness of Soviet Communism was not well recognized until much later, such as the Great Famine (1932 – 1933).
Some people proposed to adopt the communist theory and the CCP’s first National Congress was held in July 1912 with 15 participants. Most of them were soon purged by the CCP since they were not ruthless enough (such as Chen Duxiu, Zhang Guotao) and some became traitors (such as Chen Gongbo and Zhou Fohai). Dong Biwu and Mao Zedong died as loyal CCP members, in 1975 and 1976, respectively.
It was during various internal struggles and political campaigns that Mao as well as other top CCP leaders learned to become real CCP members. That is, acquiring nine traits inherited from communism (evil, deceit, incitement, unleashing the scum of society, espionage, robbery, fighting, elimination, and control), as summarized by Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party.
Furthermore, the CCP became more experienced in using propaganda to control people’s minds. After the Thought Reform of Intellectuals (1951 – 1952), it launched the Anti-Rightist Campaign (1957 – 1959) to remove any negative opinions about the Party. The chaos of the Cultural Revolution (1966 – 1976) went even further and wiped out traditional values from people’s minds, forcing them to always keep their words and actions consistent with the CCP.
As a result, during many of these campaigns, including the Tiananmen Square Massacre in 1989, the persecution of Falun Gong (1999 – present), and the three-year lockdown (2020-2023) in China, those who followed the orders did not realize all of these harmed people and instead blamed others for disobeying orders from the Party.
With the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, the peaceful meditation system of Falun Gong reconnected people with traditional values and teaches people to be good citizens. Shortly after being introduced to the public in 1992, it attracted tens of millions of people with huge benefits for mind and body.
But the CCP’s nature of brutality and lies made it unwilling to give up controlling people. That is why former CCP leader Jiang Zemin started to persecute Falun Gong in July 1999. Although officials and ordinary citizens were initially sympathetic towards innocent Falun Gong practitioners and their faith in Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, endless defamatory propaganda from the CCP later pushed them away from their conscience.
By siding with the CCP to discriminate against and persecute Falun Gong practitioners for their belief to be better citizens, people are also risking their own futures – both morally and legally – and undermining society. Fortunately, after the publication of Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, over 406 million Chinese people have renounced their membership in the CCP’s organizations, including the Youth League and Young Pioneers.
“When people become immoral they generate karma, become sick, and experience disastrous things,” wrote Mr. Li Hongzhi, founder of Falun Gong. “But a pandemic like the current Chinese Communist Virus (or “Wuhan Virus”) comes with a purpose behind it, and it has targets. It is here to weed out members of the Party and those who have sided with it.” (“Stay Rational”)
Now is the time to wake up from the CCP's lies and reject the regime for a better tomorrow.
