(Minghui.org) It has been eight years since I joined the worldwide phone calling group to make truth-clarification phone calls to China.
The platform has provided a good cultivation environment. There are four Fa study sessions and three phone calling sessions daily. Practitioners send forth righteous thoughts before calling China to clarify the truth. The project I am assigned to is to call public prosecutors and judiciary officials.
As long as people can understand the truth about Falun Gong (also called Falun Dafa), I’m sure they will stop participating in the persecution of Dafa practitioners. They will be able to help their families have a bright future. Every word we speak during our phone calls can shatter the lies of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), awaken people’s conscience, stimulate their goodness, and achieve the goal of saving them.
Offering a hand to a drowning man helps to save a person, and our phone calls can have the same effect. We expose the CCP’s lies and let those deceived know the truth, including how Falun Dafa is embraced by people all around the globe. We talk about the staged “self-immolation,” the “1400 alleged deaths,” the CCP’s evil nature, and the heavenly principle that “good will be rewarded, and evil with meet with retribution.”
For this reason we dial as many phone numbers as we can, and clarify the truth to whomever picks up the phone. It is a manifestation of practitioners’ compassion.
Heaven Is Watching
I once called the traffic police section in the Mudanjiang City Police Department. I said to the officer who answered the phone, “I have something important to tell you. First, I want to make sure this is the traffic police section of the Mudaniang Police Department.” The person told me it was.
I continued, “Are you handling any Falun Gong cases? I hope you can protect Dafa practitioners. Heaven is watching, and you will be blessed with a peaceful life for your good deeds. I have an important website for you. Please check if out for further important information.”
I gave him the web address, and he sincerely thanked me. I added, “I have something else for you that does not need the Internet. It is the Sound of Hope Radio.”
He knew I was in Taiwan, and commented, “Taiwan is good! I’ve visited there.” He wanted to treat me to dinner when I visited China sometime. He wished me well, and I thanked him.
He said that international phone calls are expensive, implying that I should not waste money by talking for too long. I asked him if he had quit the CCP and its youth organizations. He said that he didn’t join the CCP, but had joined the Communist Youth League many years ago.
I replied, “That oath you made to the blood-colored flag left a deadly mark. It will always be there if you don’t erase it. You will be part of the CCP and will have a share of every bad thing it has done. You must have it erased.
“Your name is so-and-so, right? I’ll help you quit the Youth League on the Tuidang website. You can get your certificate by providing today’s date and your name.” He agreed, and we bid farewell after wishing each other well.
Police Station Director Waits for My Call
I spoke with a police station director in Harbin City three times. During the first call, he hung up as soon as I said, “I have something very important to say to you.”
The second time, I said, “Excuse me, is this director so-and-so (letting him know that I had something specifically for him). I hope you can protect good people. Heaven is watching, and you will be blessed with a peaceful life.
“Do you know the Tiananmen Square self-immolation was a hoax and the Changchun TV interception incident in the early 2000s has been made into a film titled Fifty Minutes of Eternity, which can be seen all over the world. People are calling on the CCP to stop the persecution of Falun Gong and the organ harvesting from living Dafa practitioners.
“Ordinary folk only want peace and safety, and must not follow illegal orders. Communism is what Marx believed. It is a specter that came to destroy humanity. Our precious Chinese people must learn to protect ourselves, our fellow countrymen, and our families.
“Every CCP campaign is known to have murdered people. The CCP has taken over 80 million lives during its 73-year rule, outnumbering the deaths in World War I and World War II combined. The CCP is best at ‘slaughtering the donkey after it has done its job at the mill.’ Don’t become the Party’s scapegoat.”
I gave him the names of some websites, and told him the importance of quitting the Party’s organizations. I said that he could download the Sound of Hope Radio app on his phone for important news at home and abroad.
I also recommended that he read The Ultimate Goal of Communism, The Specter of Communism Is Ruling Our World, and the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. He listened to my introductions to all three books before hanging up. This time, he listened for over 17 minutes.
I called him for the third time that evening. I said, “Greetings! Can you hear me?” He said yes immediately, and I believe he was waiting for my call. I asked if he had kept the website addresses I gave him. He said he had. I continued, “Quitting the CCP is very important. Shall I help you quit?” I told him to remember today’s date, and that he could get his certificate with the date and his name.
He said, “Okay!”
“It would be good for you if you would listen to some recordings of the truth,” I added, and played recordings about traditional Chinese culture, practitioners witnessing miracles, the truth about Dafa, and organ harvesting from living practitioners.
While listening, he occasionally spoke softly to someone next to him. I heard him say, “Give me your phone number.” I thought he was talking to me, so I gave him the helpline phone number, and told him he could help his family members to quit the CCP by calling that number.
He said, “I’m giving you a number.” He read me a phone number and told me that it was his family member so-and-so who wants to quit the CCP.
“I will help you both quit,” I replied, “and I will send you the tracking number for your certificates.”
I told him to remember, “Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!” which can turn bad fortune into good fortune. He listened for 27 minutes and 41 seconds.
The third phone call was obviously the arrangement of Master Li [the founder of Falun Dafa], knowing that the officer was waiting for my call. Only after he picked up the phone did I realize he was the director who listened to me that morning, when he had not yet quit the Party. With Master’s help, he and his family were able to choose a bright future for themselves.
I realized that Master was telling me to offer sentient beings the opportunity to quit after clarifying the truth to them. Looking inward, I saw that I had been careless and lacked attention and compassion, having had to make the phone call three times. I was inconsiderate of others.
Master, thank you for teaching me what true compassion is.
It’s Important that We Never Give Up
I called a police station in Jiamusi City, and the person there hung up before I could finish my first sentence. I called again and directly told him the truth about Dafa and that the “Tiananmen Square self-immolation” was staged. I also told him that when the Cultural Revolution concluded, Liu Chuanxin, the Beijing police director, committed suicide for fear of being convicted; and 810 police and military officers who were on active duty during the Cultural Revolution were taken to Yunnan Province and secretly executed, while their families were told they died in the line of duty.
I gave him the website for the World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong, and suggested that he go online and find out more. He then hung up.
I called again and told him about Huo Yanhua, who was in her 40s, and lived in Gujia Village, Yongji County in Jilin Province. She was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2020. During surgery, the doctor from Jilin University Hospital found that her body was full of tumors and decided that it was no longer meaningful to continue. Without checking her any further the doctor stitched her back up and told the family to prepare for her death at any time.
Huo Yanhua returned home, knowing she didn’t have many days left. It occurred to her that she had practiced Falun Gong in 1998, but was too scared to continue after the CCP began the persecution in 1999. Now that she was dying, what was there to be afraid of? She did the Falun Gong exercises as much as she could.
Before she knew it, she was able to walk around. In less than two months, all the tumors were expelled through her stool. The doctors couldn’t believe the miracle, but it truly happened.
The person hung up the phone after I finished the story. I called again asking if he would like to quit the Party. He thought for a while without giving an answer either way. I called him again and played some truth-clarification recordings. He hung up after each piece finished, and I called him again to play another piece. This repeated nine times. He listened for 41 minutes in total.
I was under the impression that he wanted to learn the truth but was concerned about his safety, so he chose to listen to one piece at a time.
On another occasion, I was assigned two key cases. I called the Criminal Police Division, and a female officer answered. I said, “Officer, the Tiananmen ‘self-immolation’ was staged.” I then began to tell her the truth about Dafa.
She said, “You have been calling me non-stop. When is it going to end?” She hung up at 45 seconds, after listening to some information, and did not answer my call again.
This police officer was directly involved in the persecution, and I valued the opportunity to speak with her. I asked other team members to text her some truth-clarification messages and Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS). I called her again. She picked up this time, and I said, “I have something important to tell you. Articles 35 and 36 of the Constitution guarantee freedom of belief and speech, so I hope you know the truth and protect good people.”
I give her the website to break through the Internet firewall. I said, “Over 400 million people have quit the CCP and its youth organizations. Do you know why? It is because people made a deadly oath to the blood-red flag when they joined the CCP’s organizations. An oath is an oath, and all the bad things the CCP has done will be tied to those whose oath has not been erased.
“The persecution of Falun Gong is a crime against humanity, it’s genocide and is like the Nazis’ crimes. Many people now understand the truth and no longer participate in the persecution.” She hung up after listening to everything I said.
I called the number in another key case. The person listened for a total of 43 minutes. I also asked other practitioners to send him text messages and MMS.
I called the number again in the evening, and asked, “Officer Xu, do you remember everything I told you this morning? I want you and your family to be safe.” I repeated the website I’d given him to quit the Party.
I told him that more than 400 million Chinese have quit the CCP and its youth organizations, advised him not to become the Party’s scapegoat, and gave him the contact information for Sound of Hope radio. He hung up after I finished.
I made more calls that evening and spoke with three more people. One of them listened to the truth for over 27 minutes, and the other two listened for more than a minute and a few dozen seconds. To be able to listen to the truth is paving the way for future chances to be saved.
The MMS team has played a big role in our truth-clarification. In addition, practitioners dedicated to sending forth righteous thoughts and playing truth-clarification recordings have also played a role in saving people in this one-body group.
I have also made many phone calls that could not get through. I know it was because my mind was not focused while studying the Fa, doing the exercises and sending forth righteous thoughts, all of which hindered my abilities and power. Only by listening to Master, doing the three things, and cultivating myself well will I be endowed with the power of the Fa and fulfill my sacred mission of saving sentient beings.
