(Minghui.org) I’d like to share my cultivation experiences during the pandemic over the past three years.
COVID-19 broke out during the Chinese New Year in 2020. I felt a great sense of emergency. I wondered if the great elimination was coming. As a Falun Dafa practitioner in the Fa-rectification period, my duty is to save sentient beings. I have no other choice.
At the start of the pandemic, everyone was very nervous due to the lockdowns. I became very worried when I saw the quiet streets, the closed doors, and few people on the streets. When I saw people, I went over to them to clarify the truth. Some people just ignored me. Some dismissed me. One person asked me what I was doing. I told him that I was saving sentient beings. I told him the two phrases “Falun Dafa is good” and “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” and clarified the truth to him. He agreed to withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations. I told him to remember the two phrases and gave him an amulet before he left happily.
I met a woman in her fifties outside a grain store. I clarified the truth to her. She was excited and said: “You are the best person in the world. The pandemic is so severe yet you come out to save people. Thank you so much!” I said she’d better thank Falun Dafa and Master Li (Dafa’s founder). She said: “Thank you Master!” I helped seven people withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organizations that afternoon.
My son was worried about me because I went out every day. He said: “The pandemic is so severe. What if you are infected?” I said: “Master saved my life (I started to practice Falun Dafa when I had late-stage cancer). I am Master’s disciple, the messenger of a divine being. I must go out to save sentient beings.” Later on, when he saw that I was all right, he said with humor: “Mum, you are immune to external poisons.”
Saving Sentient Beings in the Snow
It is freezing cold in Northeast China in the winter. I went out to clarify the truth to people when it snowed heavily.
I saw an elderly man in the snow. I went over to him and asked him why he was out in such cold weather. He said that he had come out for a walk because he had illnesses and didn’t want to stay at home all day. I told him the two phrases and that he would benefit if he repeated those words silently in his mind. I clarified the truth to him and then told him that by withdrawing from the CCP and its affiliated organizations he could stay safe from the calamities and disasters. He agreed and quit the CCP’s affiliated organizations with his real name. I gave him an amulet. He took it and left happily.
I saw two people waiting for the bus. I clarified the truth to them. They agreed to withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organizations and thanked me for going out to save sentient beings in the snow. I helped 22 people quit the CCP in three days. My practitioner husband said that I was worthy of being Master’s disciple. Master gave me a second life. I walk on the path of saving sentient beings every day, rain or shine, warm or cold.
Taking Bitterness as Joy
I moved from my warm apartment to a cold flat during the pandemic to avoid the lockdown in my residential area. Though it was cold, it allowed me to go out every day to save sentient beings. I also organized practitioners to study the Fa together. We shared how to save sentient beings effectively. Every practitioner improved a lot. Everyone stepped out to clarify the truth to people and was able to help dozens of people withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organizations every day.
Some practitioners asked if I felt staying in the cold house and having to physically attend to the fireplace was hard. I told them that it was worth it as long as I could save sentient beings.
One practitioner did a calculation for me. She said that I could have helped more than 30,000 people quit the CCP when I moved from the countryside to the city in 2017. Compared with the diligent practitioners, I was still far behind. I should keep cultivating diligently.
Master Protected Me When I Was in Danger
I came across danger while I was clarifying the truth to people. Sometimes I came across a person who would curse at me and not let me go. Some threatened to report me to the police and took photos of me. Thanks to Master’s protection, I remained safe.
The riskiest encounter happened on the afternoon of September 26, 2022. I was clarifying the truth to a couple when I saw two policemen get out of a police car and walk toward me. I quickly walked to nearby steps and lay down on my stomach over my bag. I had over 10,000 yuan in paper bills with truth-clarification messages printed on them and also a list of names of people who'd withdrawn from the CCP. These could not fall into the hands of the police. I was doing the most righteous thing and saving sentient beings. I pleaded for Master to help me. At the same time, I looked within and found that I had a show-off mentality. I saved many people every day and had become complacent. I was careless about safety, and that was taken advantage of by the evil. I rectified myself in the Fa.
The police wanted to take me to a hospital and search my bag, but that didn't happen. When they were not looking, I got up and left. The police car followed me closely. I pleaded for Master to let it rain. Sure enough, it started to rain. They saw it was raining and getting dark and stopped following me. Thanks to Master’s protection, I got home safely.
With Master’s protection, I have walked on the path of saving sentient beings for many years.
