(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners were invited to participate in the “Multicultural Festival” [Fête des Possibles] in the town of St. Paul-en-Forêt in the Var region near the Mediterranean Sea in southern France on September 24, 2023.
Many people visited their booth and were shocked to learn how the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) persecutes Falun Dafa. When the host went to their booth with a microphone, a practitioner used the microphone to tell people about Falun Dafa and how the CCP forcibly harvests organs from practitioners, and invited people to sign a petition calling for an end to the persecution.
Mayor Nicolas Martel of Saint-Paul-en-Forêt
When Mayor Nicolas Martel of Saint-Paul-en-Forêt visited their booth, practitioners told him about the CCP’s persecution in China. He was appalled and immediately signed the petition.
Mayor Martel said, “I am surprised by what you have told me. I thank you for coming here to tell people about the horrific experiences of Falun Dafa practitioners in China. I will read your information carefully and pass the message on. Thank you again for being here.”

Many people signed the petition and left with fliers. Some said, “I plan to tell everyone I know, so that this information can to be spread all over the world.” Some said they would publish it on the Internet.
Participating in Nancy Association Day
Practitioners also participated in the Association Day event held in Parc de la Pépinière in Nancy on September 23. Many people came to their booth to learn about Falun Dafa and how the CCP persecutes the practice.
When people learned about the persecution and the cruelty that practitioners are subjected to in China, many people were shocked. Some asked, “With such a peaceful practice and life philosophy that does no harm to anyone, why does the CCP persecute practitioners so brutally?”
One woman said that she felt an irresistible force and that drew her to the Falun Dafa booth. She said the entire booth and everyone there exuded energy, and a peaceful power. Many people were interested in Falun Dafa and wanted to know how to practice. Some people also asked about the spiritual aspects of the practice.

Practitioners also taught the exercises to people who expressed interest. Many people, including children ranging from four to twelve years old, came to learn. After they did the exercises and were told the principles of Falun Dafa, two of the children said they wanted to introduce the practice to their parents and relatives, because they felt Falun Dafa was amazing.
A couple who were walking with their three-month-old baby said they were drawn to the meditation practice, and chatted with practitioners. A practitioner told them about Falun Dafa’s principles, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, and described the persecution in China. The woman was moved to tears and said, “If everyone abides by Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, there will be no more wars or suffering, and everyone would be happy.” She said she hopes more people will understand and practice Falun Dafa, making the world a better place.
After a middle-aged man read the information about Falun Dafa, he said he felt positive energy and wanted to learn to practice. He kept saying, “Falun Dafa is good,” as he left.
Practitioners do the Falun Dafa exercises at Place Stanislas, adjacent to Perpiniel Park in Nancy, every Sunday.
The next morning, three people came to the practice site to learn the exercises. They had all been to the Falun Dafa booth the day before.
One said she knew she needed to come because the alarm clock that usually only rings once, rang three times that day. This was her first time to learn the exercises. She said that when she did them, a warm current passed through her body, and she saw a colorful rainbow.
