(Minghui.org) In September 2022, I went out with another practitioner to talk to people about the persecution of Falun Dafa. We were arrested and held in different detention centers. I tried my best to clarify the facts to the detainees and help them understand about Falun Dafa and the persecution.
When I arrived at the detention center, I was supposed to have a physical examination. I clarified the truth to the detention center doctor. She was very kind and told me she liked the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance, and she said other positive things about Dafa. When I refused to comply she didn’t force me to have the physical examination.
Later, two guards came in. One of them began cursing me when she heard our conversation. To avoid provoking her into even worse behavior, I stopped talking. Before she left, she threatened to straighten me out if I dared to clarify the truth to others.
The detainees held in the detention center were arrested for crimes such as stealing, fraud, fighting, drug addiction and prostitution. Their conversations were usually unpleasant, and I couldn’t help feeling disgusted. But I quickly thought: They also courageously came down from heaven to seek salvation through Dafa, but they got lost in this everyday world. It is Dafa disciples’ responsibility to save them.
So I started to tell them about the beauty of Dafa, how Dafa spread around the world, and how the communist regime spread hateful propaganda to smear Dafa. I also told them the heinous crime of harvesting organs from Falun Dafa practitioners. They sympathized very much with practitioners, and they all quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its related organizations.
Doing the Falun Dafa Exercises Daily
At first, I was a little concerned about doing the exercises, so I kept quietly reciting Master’s Fa teachings and I asked Master to strengthen me.
One of the inmates told me, “A Falun Dafa practitioner was just released from here; she exercised every day. You should be able to as well.”
I was delighted, and I realized Master was encouraging me through her. I began doing the exercises that night. A guard saw me and started yelling at me, but I continued.
The guard’s yelling woke everyone up, and one of the inmates said, “Leave her alone; she’s not bothering us.” The guard left. Just like that, I was able to exercise every day while in the detention center.
“I Never Met Anyone As Nice As You”
One of the young women came from a destitute family. To make ends meet, she went out to look for work. She couldn’t find a regular job, so she began working as a prostitute and was arrested two months later. I felt sorry for her and shared my food and clothes with her. I told her how wonderful Dafa is and about the persecution. She was deeply moved and said, “Falun Dafa is terrific. I never met anyone as nice as you.”
More Inmates Understand the Facts
On the fifth day, four prostitutes arrived. Three people from my cell were sent to their cell to explain the rules. I wasn’t chosen because I didn’t follow the rules. But one of the people from my cell asked me, “Will you go instead of me? You can tell them the truth about Dafa and save them, too.”
I was taken aback and immediately realized that Master once again helped me enlighten, so I agreed. The four newcomers not only accepted the truth about Falun Dafa, but also quit the CCP and its related organizations. They also wanted to learn how to meditate and tried to cross their legs, but they could only sit with one leg crossed. One day, one of them said that she could sit with both her legs crossed. The others were curious and asked how she did it.
She said, “When I was crossing my legs, I decided I will be a good person in future and no longer do bad things. Just like that, I was able to cross both my legs!” We were all happy for her.
I was released after 15 days. While I was detained I helped eight people quit the CCP and its related organizations. I also learned that on my second day in the detention center, a practitioner from outside China called the detention center and demanded that I be released. My family also worked hard to rescue me. I am deeply grateful for Master’s protection to help me pass this tribulation smoothly.
Before I left the detention center, I saw the female guard who was so vicious when she first met me. This time she smiled and saw me off. Her friendly attitude showed me that people are awakening. As Dafa cultivators, we should open our minds and hearts to save them all.
