(Minghui.org) The Neyagawa Culture and Arts Festival was held in Neyagawa City, Osaka, Japan on November 4 and 5, 2023. Falun Gong practitioners demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises, and performed with waist drums at the event.
Neyagawa is a suburban city in Osaka Prefecture. The Festival Executive Committee uses “seeing,” “listening,” and “communication” as key words to encourage communication among different age groups, and promote the popularization of cultural and artistic activities.
On the day of the event, the area around Neyagawa city train station was packed with people. Various local booths with things from different areas were on display at parks, elementary schools, and both adults, so children could enjoy the art festival.
On the morning of the first day of the festival, the Kansai Waist Drum Team composed of Falun Gong practitioners, performed four pieces on the stage. The students explained to the audience the meaning of each waist drum movement.

After the demonstration, a practitioner spoke about the health benefits of the exercises. He told the audience how Falun Gong is being persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in China, asking for their support to help bring an end to the atrocities.
