Ms. Yin Qiuyang was arrested by officers from the Yingfeng Police Station around October 16, 2023. She is being held in the Huaihua City Detention Center.
Ms. Wu Fangming was arrested by officers from the Hexi Police Station on September 28, 2023. She is being held in the Huaihua City Detention Center.
2. [Weihai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Xu Aiqin Arrested
Ms. Xu Aiqin from Bizi Village, Gushan Town, was arrested by officers from the Gushan Town Police Station while distributing desk calendars at the Gushan farmers market on October 22, 2023. The police ransacked her home and confiscated her Falun Gong books. Her whereabouts are unknown.
3. [Zunhua City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhang Lianhua and Ms. Chang Guihua Arrested
Ms. Zhang Lianhua and Ms. Chang Guihua were arrested by officers from the Jianming Town Police Station on the afternoon of October 31, 2023. Further information is pending.
4. [Qingzhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Meng Meihua Arrested
Ms. Meng Meihua is about 65 years old. On August 29, 2023, the police deceived Ms. Meng into going to the police station to review documents related to the hotel she operated. She was subsequently held in the interrogation room, threatened, and interrogated. The officers threatened to lock her up in a detention center and impose a heavy fine.
Officers from the Qingzhou Police Station took Ms. Meng to a hospital in Weifang City twice to undergo physical examinations to be admitted to a forced labor camp. The readings were abnormal. The officers instructed the hospital to revise the examination results, and then took her to the detention center.
Meng was detained in Weifang City Detention Center for several days. During another physical examination, the detention center personnel found that she had high blood pressure and a large tumor on her kidney. The detention center processed the release on bail paper for her, and she returned home.

Ms. Zhang Min, who is retired from Huaihua Rural Commercial Bank, was harassed several times by officers from the Hecheng District Domestic Security Division. On the morning of October 19, 2023, Ms. Zhang was stopped by several officers when she stepped out of her home. They told her not to distribute Falun Gong materials and pressured her to sign paperwork, which she refused.
6. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] 82-Year-Old Ms. Wang Yuhe Held in Prison
Family members of Ms. Wang Yuhe, 82, mailed registered letters on September 25, 2023, to the warden, political commissar, head of No. 11 Ward, and Correctional Section head in the Liaoning Province Women’s Prison. In the letters, they said they would apply for medical parole for Ms. Wang, who was unable to care for herself. They also presented information about Falun Gong and offered kindhearted advice.
On November 2, Ms. Wang’s family members were notified that their right to visit or talk over the phone with Ms. Wang was suspended for two months.
7. [Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region] Ms. Zhang Lixia Arrested
Ms. Zhang Lixia was arrested while talking to people about Falun Gong by officers from the North Mancheng Street Police Station on the morning of November 1, 2023. Further details are not available.
8. [Xichang City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Wu Cailian Harassed
Five people from the Chang’an Community went to Ms. Wu Cailian’s home on October 20, 2023. They took photos when they entered her home, and then took photos of her national ID card. They threatened that if she did not stop distributing Falun Gong materials, she would be sentenced to ten years in prison.
