(Minghui.org) My wife, also a Falun Dafa practitioner, and I flew to a big eastern city in China to visit my brother. He was suffering from liver cancer and was preparing for an operation.
Meeting a Student on the Plane
We were on a full flight, and it was smooth flying after passing through the clouds. After a light meal, some people read, some chatted with each other, and some closed their eyes and rested.
In the aisle to my right sat a young student who was studying towards a nuclear-related major at a well-known university. The young student was preparing to graduate and was investigating options for graduate school. He was flying to East China for a graduate interview.
We started chatting about his major. I asked questions about the structure of the universe based on what I learned from Dafa. I talked about the molecules, atoms, and nuclei to the smallest particles, quarks, neutrinos, and so on. He was surprised and asked me if I was a scientist.
I smiled and said that I was a judge. He asked me how I knew so much about physics. He was also surprised at my youthful appearance when he learned my age.
I told him that my knowledge and health all came from practicing Falun Dafa and reading the book Zhuan Falun, the main book of Falun Dafa. I told him that this book has been translated into 40 languages and helped millions of people in different countries to practice Dafa and improve their health and morals.
Falun Dafa’s Master has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize and has received thousands of awards from governments of various countries. Falun Dafa’s contribution to society has been praised by people all over the world. Only the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) persecutes it.
As I introduced Dafa to him, he suddenly remembered that he previously had circumvention software to get through the firewall, and he had some knowledge about the persecution of Falun Dafa.
I got him a pseudonym and asked him to quit from the CCP organizations, the Youth League and Young Pioneers. He readily agreed. He then said that he wanted to read Zhuan Falun, so we exchanged contact information.
I went to his school and gave him an electronic version of Zhuan Falun after I got back from the trip. He was very happy. I learned that he had successfully passed the graduate interview.
Saving People in a Hospital
My brother is timid and stubborn, and values personal interests. He never dared to listen to the truth about Dafa and did not believe in it, although he knew that it is good and I recovered from all my illnesses after I began to practice Dafa.
This time he was seriously ill. I brought a recording of Master’s lectures to him, but he still refused to listen.
One day, I met a ship’s first mate and his wife who was waiting for liver cancer surgery in the hospital hallway, and we chatted. The first mate said that I was an upright person.
I told them that I was a judge who practiced Falun Dafa. I follow Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. I told them that the CCP persecutes Falun Dafa and this persecution would bring about divine punishment as well as punishment by the human legal process.
After hearing the truth, the couple quit the Communist Youth League and Young Pioneers with a pseudonym. I asked them to sincerely recite “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,” and told them that it would have a great effect on their health.
The first mate found me again to confirm the nine-character mantra and recorded it on his phone.
His wife had a dream that night. In the dream, the doctor operated on a female patient. The operation was complicated.
The doctor declared success after the operation. The next day, the first mate’s wife’s operation was very successful. The first mate thanked me. I knew that Master had saved his wife.
There was also a patient with the same disease as my elder brother, who often went to his ward to chat with him. This 40-year-old man from a southeastern provincial capital had just undergone surgery and was very thin and haggard.
His wife accompanied him. His wife was very optimistic and often encouraged him, saying that she had a feeling that a cure would definitely be found.
I met the two in the corridor and took the opportunity to tell them the facts about Falun Dafa. I told them that Falun Dafa is a high level practice that can save people from disasters. A survey by the State Sports Administration found that Falun Dafa was effective in treating difficult diseases in 98% of the respondents. Sincerely reciting “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” will have positive effects.
They said that they had traveled to Taiwan and had heard of this. When we returned home, they specifically asked us for the nine-character mantra and said that they believed what we said.
Her husband made a full recovery, and the cancer disappeared without a trace. He became energetic and his weight returned to normal.
I met a woman of the same age as me when I was visiting my brother in the hospital. She was suffering from bile duct disease. She was there for the post operative review.
After I told her the facts about Dafa, she said that she had practiced it before the persecution. It was a good time, and she had no illness and was completely healthy. She stopped practicing after the persecution was launched in July 1999.
She said that she was defrauded of more than one million yuan in her business, and she developed bile duct disease later. She went to temples to burn incense and worship Buddha, but didn’t get better.
I told her that the CCP created hatred, fabricated lies about “self-immolation”, and poisoned the world. I suggested she quickly find former practitioners she knew and return to practicing Dafa so that she could get healthy soon.
Seeing the plight of my brother and this lady, I deeply felt that the real victims of this persecution are the world's people who have been poisoned by the CCP’s lies!
Meeting a Professor on My Return Trip
My wife and I flew back after my brother’s condition stabilized. We met an associate professor from the same school as the college student we had met.
This young professor was is in his early 40s, very eloquent and talkative. He talked about his major and his views on current affairs and social phenomena.
I listened silently. When he asked about my profession, I said I was a judge and also a practitioner of Falun Dafa.
He was not surprised. He said I looked nice, and that he had read Zhuan Falun. But he put it down after turning a couple of pages due to the obstacle of atheism.
I told him that he must take a closer look if he had the chance. I told him about the spread of Falun Dafa around the world, the damage done to China’s legal system and morality by the CCP’s persecution, the suffering of the Chinese people induced by the CCP’s previous movements, and the impact of atheism and evolution on China.
He did not express his position when I talked about quitting the CCP and its affiliates. I continued to talk about the ancient stone discovered in Pingtang County, Guizhou in 2002, which read “The Chinese Communist Party Will Perish” and about the disintegration of the Soviet Union.
We talked for more than two hours until the flight was about to land. I said, “It is fate that we met today. I will use the name of the flight “Lucky” to help you quit the CCP and its youth organizations.” He said, “OK! I don’t have a good impression of the CCP anyway.” We both laughed.
A life was saved, and my heart also landed as the plane did. I believe this encounter will change the fate of the young scholar.
Epilogue
The trip to East China seemed like an unintentional coincidence, but there were so many careful arrangements by Master during the trip for me.
I must cultivate myself well and cherish the precious time extended by Master. I shall keep up with the proceedings of Fa-rectification, fulfill Master’s wishes, save more sentient beings, and return to my origins with Master.
