(Minghui.org) Minghui Publishing was invited to take part in a Chinese New Year celebration held at the Town of Mount Hope Youth Center, New York, on January 29.
David Li, a representative of Minghui Publishing, said he would like to see the various books and periodicals published by Minghui Publishing bring renewed hope to people in the New Year.

Sponsored by Mount Hope Chinese Association, this event featured a variety of activities celebrating the Chinese New Year, including a dragon dance, lion dance, performances of the pipa and erhu, specialty food, children’s games, and books for sale.

Nearly 20 different publications by Minghui Publishing were on display and for sale at the event. They included children’s books, graphic books, a book about the pandemic, Minghui Report: The 20-year Persecution of Falun Gong in China, and a variety of periodicals such as Tiandi Cangsheng (Heaven and Earth), Minghui International, and more.
David said that Minghui Publishing’s publications are all based on the traditional values of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, so they are uplifting and nourish the mind.
Some parents expressed to David their worries about modern society’s moral decay and various temptations harming the youth. They were eager to find positive materials for their children to read, and glad to see the books by Minghui Publishing at the event. Some of them said they had read Minghui Publishing books such as The Story of Yaya many years ago and liked them very much.
A recent publication, My New Classmate, was also well received. The main character, a boy, had a new classmate who bullied him and other kids. Instead of feeling angry or seeking revenge, the boy was able to handle the situation with generosity and kindness. When the classmate had difficulties, the boy helped him out selflessly. In the end, the bully was touched and stopped bullying others. “This is the power of kindness and compassion,” explained David.

Amanda Luong, a sales representative from Minghui Publishing, said she was happy to see so many local residents at the event. Quite a few of them were interested in Minghui Publishing and asked what new materials would be available. Amanda was glad these books could help them and benefit the community.
Life and Hope Renewed is one of the best sellers from Minghui Publishing.
Over the years, Minghui Publishing has published several books on mind and body improvement. David said they are very popular. One example is Life and Hope Renewed, which is a collection of 48 cases of people regaining health and rekindling hope in life through practicing Falun Gong. “All of the stories in the book are real, first-hand accounts,” David added. “The book is very popular and has already sold out.”
The CCP Pandemic helps people to find safety.
The whole world had been plagued by the COVID pandemic during the past three years. The CCP Pandemic was thus published to offer a thorough review of how the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)’s cover-up of the virus breakout in China resulted in the rapid spread of the virus to the rest of the world.
As analyzed in the book, what the CCP did during the pandemic was not accidental, said David. Rather, it was rooted in the regime’s brutality and lies, and consistent with the CCP’s track record of human rights abuse in the past few decades. “A correlation between countries hit hard by the virus and their close ties to the CCP leads us to examine the underlying causes of where we are today, including how the Chinese regime has deceived the world and why other countries have ignored and even enabled its abuses,” wrote the book, which is available in both Kindle and print edition.
As the CCP is still actively pushing its communist ideology globally by leveraging its economic clout, it is important for people both inside and outside of China to recognize the CCP’s evil nature. By embracing traditional values and rejecting the regime, one may stay safe and avoid future tragedies caused by the CCP.
