(Minghui.org) Three Wenling City, Zhejiang Province, residents were recently sentenced to prison for practicing Falun Gong, a spiritual discipline that has been persecuted by the Chinese communist regime since 1999.
Ms. Jin Ping was sentenced to two years. Ms. Bao Lingling, in her 80s, was given one and a half years. The prison term given to Ms. Wang Mei, 42, is unknown.
The three practitioners were arrested on November 30, 2021, and have been held at the Wenling City Detention Center since. Details about their sentencing aren’t known.
Ms. Wang came across Falun Gong in 1995, but she didn’t seriously practice it until December 2010, when she suffered a serious medical condition that couldn’t be cured in the hospital. Knowing that Falun Gong’s healing power could help her, she took up the practice and soon regained her health.
In addition to the three practitioners, another practitioner, Mr. Lin Sihua, of Taizhou City, Zhejiang Province, was sentenced to five years to the Zhejiang Province No. 2 Prison in late 2020 by the Wenling City Court. Details about his sentencing are also unknown.
