(Minghui.org) I took some detours on my cultivation path, and missed many opportunities to improve my xinxing, which is painful to think about now. I would like to seize these last opportunities, and cultivate diligently.
I began going out to clarify the truth with another practitioner, named Ling [alias]. I wanted to talk to people about the persecution of Falun Gong every morning. I also attended group Fa study in the afternoon and evening.
Ling is compassionate and kind. She has no fear and has strong righteous thoughts. She is walking steadily and solidly on her cultivation path and is serious about saving people.
At first I stayed at a distance from my fellow practitioner, and sent righteous thoughts while Ling clarified the truth to people. Out of fear I didn’t want people to know we were together. Ling didn’t criticize me, but instead encouraged me.
Each time before I left home I asked Master to strengthen my righteous thoughts and remove my fear.
One day as I was helping Ling by sending forth righteous thoughts from a distance, I suddenly thought, “What kind of cooperation is this? I’m doing it all wrong. I am Master’s disciple, and I am doing the most righteous thing in the universe. No one is worthy of interfering with me.” I immediately walked over and joined Ling.
Ling doesn’t beat around the bush when she clarifies the truth; she can convince people to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations with just a few sentences. I asked her, “Ling, explaining to them so quickly, do you think they understand? Master said getting people to quit the CCP organizations is not the goal, but clarifying the truth to them is.”
Ling responded, “Time is limited. People are waiting to be saved. I want to save as many people as possible. When they read the truth-clarification materials, they will understand everything.”
Witnessing the Power of Dafa
When people refuse to listen, Ling says, “Let me tell you what happened to my family. We own a supermarket and a warehouse. Our warehouse and my sister’s pig farm are near a cattle farm. The cattle farm had a barn that was filled with corn stalks to feed the cattle in winter.
“One night the corn stalks caught fire. The fire was too intense for anyone to get close. People were stunned and could only helplessly watch the barn burn down. Someone called the fire department, but it looked like the barn would be completely burned by the time the fire trucks arrived.
“I suddenly remembered the nine special words and shouted, ‘Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good! Master, please help us put out the fire!’ Instantly, the fire went out. People quickly put out the remaining fire. My family’s warehouse and my sister’s pig farm were not damaged. Everyone witnessed the power of Dafa.
Suggesting a Way to be Safe
“We practice Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, and we must speak the truth. I speak to you as I would to my own family. I do not ask anything from you in return, but I hope that you remember ‘Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!’ and be safe in the face of great disaster.
“Please take a look at the pamphlet, you will be blessed after you understand the truth.” Most people accept the materials and agree to withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) organizations they joined.
We sometimes meet people who say, “Don’t you have anything better to do? You should be arrested.” Ling is not moved, and compassionately talks to them.
I tell people, “Dafa not only saved her family’s supermarket warehouse and pig farm, but also saved her life. She used to be a terminal cancer patient. She recovered from her illness because of practicing Falun Dafa, aka Falun Gong.
“We all know that after a doctor cures a patient, the patient thanks and trusts the doctor. Dafa gave her health, so she thanks Dafa Master and trusts Dafa. She told you about the beauty of Dafa’s life-saving power so you can benefit. She doesn’t mean any harm or force you to believe anything. It is up to you to believe.
“Dafa practitioners do not fight back when we’re beaten or sworn at, and conduct ourselves based on the Dafa principles Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. Since ancient times, those persecuting good people will come to no good. Please do not do bad things, for your and your family’s sake.”
Talking to the Police
At a large market last winter we saw two men chatting. Ling greeted them, “I’d like to give each of you a pamphlet so you can learn a little bit of the truth about Falun Dafa, and be safe during the pandemic.”
The heavier man said, “We are police. It’s the strike-hard campaign right now. How dare you talk about this to us!” Ling said, “The pandemic won’t spare you just because you are an officer. In fact you know even more about the persecution than the average person. If you protect Falun Dafa practitioners you will have a bright future.”
She put a pamphlet in the officer’s coat pocket and asked, “You are a Party member, right?” He said, “How can I not be?” Ling said, “How about quitting it with a pseudonym?” He nodded. The other officer already walked away. Ling asked the first officer to pass the pamphlet to him after reading it, and said, “We shouldn’t just be saving ourselves, we should help our colleagues and family members be saved as well.”
The next time we went to the market we met the same officers again. Ling said to the slimmer officer, “It’s fate. Heaven is very kind to you, it seems that you have understood the truth and should withdraw from the CCP today. Don’t miss the opportunity. How about quitting the Party using a pseudonym?” He agreed, and they left with the materials.
The third time we went to the market, something even more amazing happened - the two police officers were looking for Ling and asked for more materials.
Ling said, “I have prepared two packets for you. They talk about the serious consequences one faces when persecuting Dafa and Dafa practitioners at different levels of public prosecutors, judges, and law enforcement officials from the angle of constitution and law.” They looked as if she handed them a treasure, and took the materials.
I encountered so many people and things in the past two years of face-to-face truth-clarification while teaming up with Ling. I know that Master arranged for Ling to take me everywhere to save people, temper myself and cultivate my xinxing, and remove my attachments.
Thank you, Master, for your merciful salvation! Thank you, Ling, for your hard work and dedication. Thank fellow practitioners who have helped me.
