1. [Beijing] Mr. Sun Deli Faces Trial
Mr. Sun Deli from Lisui Town, Shunyi District, was arrested in late 2021 for talking to people about Falun Gong. He will be tried in court at 3:37 p.m. on February 8, 2023.
2. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] The Cases Against Ms. Zang Hongyan and Ms. Xu Bin Submitted to the Court
The cases against Ms. Zang Hongyan and Ms. Xu Bin have been submitted to the Chaoyang District Court. Ms. Xu Bin is detained in the Prison Administration Center; Ms. Zang Hongyan is detained in the special section of the Changchun City Hospital designated for the police department.
3. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhang Jing and Ms. Hu Zhiqin Detained
Ms. Zhang Jing and Ms. Hu Zhiqin have been detained in the No. 2 Women’s Prison in Shenyang City since 2019. They have been forced to do unpaid labor.
4. [Guyuan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region] Ms. Zhang Junqin Released after Three-year Imprisonment
Ms. Zhang Junqin was released after three years in prison.
5. [Linghai City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Mei Arrested
Ms. Liu Mei was arrested at home around 5 p.m. on January 28, 2023.
