1. [Anshan City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Zhao Yubo Faces Indictment
Mr. Zhao Yubo was arrested. His case was sent to the procuratorate.
2. [Fuzhou City, Fujian Province] Three Practitioners Face Trial
Ms. Chen Xue, Ms. Huang Bixian, and Ms. Weng Meichai will be tried in the Mawei District Court on January 30, 2023.
3. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Mr. Li Shihai Sentenced
Mr. Li Shihai of Pingdu City was sentenced to four years in prison. Mr. Li’s attorney informed the family of the sentence on January 21, 2023.
4. [Beijing] Mr. Pan Qin Harassed
Mr. Pan Qin’s home was ransacked by Shijingshan Domestic Security Division officers on January 18, 2023. They seized many of his personal items. The Babaoshan Residential Committee sent people to watch him during the Lunar New Year holiday season. He was followed wherever he went.
5. [Maoming City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Su Weiquan’s Parents’ Home Ransacked
The home of Mr. Su Weiquan’s parents in Lintou Town was ransacked by three unknown people who were wearing masks on January 25, 2023. They searched all the rooms, took pictures with their cell phones, and seized Falun Gong books and other items.
6. [Beijing] Mr. Cui Yong and His Wife Ms. Li Cuiping Missing for a Month
Mr. Cui Yong from the Changping District and his wife Ms. Li Cuiping have been missing for a month.
