(Minghui.org) Over the years of cultivating, whenever I felt slack and tired in clarifying the truth and saving people, Master’s words always aroused my sense of responsibility and my righteous thoughts and preventd me from missing opportunities to save sentient beings.
After people understand the truth, their reactions always move me. I've become more aware of Master’s teaching:
“All lives came for the Fa,Each and every lifetime was for this life.”(“Every Lifetime Was for This Life,” Hong Yin III)
A woman came to my clinic a few years ago and asked if she could talk with me instead of being prescribed medicine. She was wearing delicate makeup but had a sad expression. I agreed. She sat down and told me her stories.
She had a failed marriage where her husband had betrayed her and often hurt her with violence and threats. Even though the marriage was over, and she had met another man who was good to her, she couldn’t emerge from the shadows of her previous marriage. She was too scared to accept the new man’s proposal and always slept with a knife under her pillow. She said painfully, “I look normal on the surface, but I am often filled with anxiety and fear. I’m really afraid that I will lose control of my emotions one day and hurt someone with the knife.”
I had sympathy for her, but I knew that human reasoning wouldn’t untangle the karmic relationships from her many lives. I remembered Master’s teachings and decided to clarify truth to her instead of pulling myself into her stories. The woman listened to me carefully. Occasionally she was interrupted by her anxiety, but I promptly guided her thoughts back to listen to the truth.
She willingly quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and affiliated organizations after hearing my truth-clarification. I told her to get rid of the knife that she kept under her pillow and not give herself a chance to commit a crime. “When you feel anxiety, sincerely repeat two phrases with respect, ‘Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.’ and you will quickly have peace in your heart.”
She let out a long breath and said, “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is truly good! Doctor, thank you! I will do what you said.”
As I watched her leave, my eyes were brimming with tears. This precious sentient being had been through so much suffering over so many lifetimes and had persevered through all the pain, perhaps all just to listen to the truth today.
“Yes, My Life is Mine”
A man came to the clinic one day for an infusion therapy to treat his cold. He looked serious during the treatment. He said little and kept watching videos on his phone. When the infusion was about to end, I took the opportunity to pull the needle out so I could ask him if he had joined the Communist Youth League or the Young Pioneers. He said he had and he was also a Party member.
“Have you heard of people withdrawing from the CCP?” I asked. He raised his head, glanced at me quickly, and said sternly, “Do you know what I do? You dare tell me this?”
I was startled but quickly collected myself and said in a low, convincing voice, “No matter what you do, your life is your own. You just do your job well, you don’t need to give your life to anyone or any organization.” The man was stunned for a moment then said in a low voice, “Yes, my life is mine!” “Quit the Party,” I suggested. He replied, “Okay!”
“I Didn’t Follow Orders Blindly”
I chatted with an elderly woman who was a retired director of a neighborhood committee about political campaigns that the CCP had used to persecute people in the past. She said she knew about them very well and that they had done nothing good for the nation or the people. Following on from this topic, I persuaded her to quit the Party and then told her more about Falun Dafa and the CCP-staged Tiananmen Square self-immolation hoax. She was agreeable.
I asked if she had participated in the persecution or committed any acts that were not respectful to Dafa. She waved her hands and said, “No, I didn’t follow orders blindly. I always stayed behind and didn’t do any immoral things.”
An old man used to be the Party secretary of a village. We chatted about the history of the Party, and he shook his head and said the Party had done all kinds of evil things, such as chasing down pregnant women and forcefully aborting their babies, no matter how many months along they were. He said that he didn’t follow the orders to tear down the houses of families who had violated the family planning policy.
He said, “At that time, I felt that this kind of thing was too immoral, and I couldn’t just follow along. I would rather lose the job of the Party secretary. We should not demolish other people’s houses,” he said. I asked him to quit the Party. He agreed to and said, “Yes, you are right. I quit. I’ve never harmed anyone, and my ancestors never did anything to harm anyone.”
These old people’s words touched my heart. Kind people, you have maintained your consciences in this troubled world. The Creator has arrived and spread Dafa to save all sentient beings. You have finally won the chance to gain salvation for yourself at this final moment.
Thank you Master for compassionately saving sentient beings. Thank you Master for protecting practitioners throughout their cultivation.
