(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 12 cities or counties in 6 provinces, where at least 22 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Langfang City, Hebei Province] Mr. Zhang Xian and Mr. Wang Zhishan Face Trial
Mr. Zhang Xian and Mr. Wang Zhishan from Xianghe County were scheduled to be tried by the Xianghe County Court at 9 a.m. on March 3, 2023.
2. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Several Practitioners Arrested
Officers from the Malin Police Station, Yuhuang Village, Yuanbaoshan Town, along with officers from the Domestic Security Division, arrested Ms. Xu Fengying, Ms. Xian Suxian, Zhang Chunrong (gender unknown), and Ms. Yang Junzhi on February 8, 2023. The practitioners’ homes were ransacked. After being interrogated, the practitioners were taken to the Yuanbaoshan District Hospital to undergo physical examinations. They were held in the Pingzhuang Detention Center in Yuanbaoshan District.
In addition, Mr. Bai Yanbin from Harqin Banner was arrested on the afternoon of February 10, 2023 and his home was ransacked. The officers confiscated a motorcycle and other personal belongings, including over 10,000 yuan in cash.
3. [Jinyun County, Zhejiang Province] Ms. Jin Feng Held in Prison
Ms. Jin Feng from Haoxi Village, Huzhen Town was sentenced to prison by the Jinyun County Court. She is being held in the Zhejiang Province Women’s Prison.
4. [Dehui City, Jilin Province] Several Practitioners Arrested
Officers from the Dehui City Police Department arrested several Falun Gong practitioners at around 12:25 a.m. on February 26, 2023. Among them, Ms. Xie Yunxiang, 69, was taken away by the police with her arms handcuffed behind her back. The officers confiscated a desktop computer, a laptop computer, and an HP printer from her home.
Mr. Zheng Yuming and his wife were arrested on February 25.
5. [Chongqing] Mr. Dai Dakui Held in Prison
It was recently reported that Mr. Dai Dakui from the Yongchuan District was taken to Yongchuan Prison in January 2023.
6. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Ms. Yan Kuihua Sentenced to Two Years in Prison
Ms. Yan Kuihua was arrested on August 12, 2022, by officers from the Linzi District Police Department, along with director Wang Qingtao from the Sunlou Police Station and officer Tang Yuangang. She was held in the Zibo City Detention Center. She was sentenced to a two-year prison term in mid-October 2022.
7. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Xiujun Missing
Ms. Wang Xiujun, from the Caijia area, went to her son’s home in Huaide Town. A practitioner called her on the afternoon of February 19, 2023, but no one answered the phone. Her friends and relatives have not been able to get in touch with her.
8. [Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province] Mr. Tian Shujun Faces Trial
Mr. Tian Shujun was arrested around May 2022. He is being held in the Qinhuangdao City Detention Center.
Mr. Tian is to be tried by the Funing District Court on March 7, 2023.
9. [Meihekou City, Jilin Province] Ms. Jiang Ruimin and Daughter Ms. Zeng Man Arrested
Several officers from Meihekou City Domestic Security Division and the Henan Police Station arrested Ms. Jiang Ruimin and ransacked her home on February 23, 2023. Ms. Jiang’s daughter Ms. Zeng Man was also arrested at the same time. Both practitioners are being held in the Meihekou City Detention Center.
10. [Dingzhou City, Hebei Province] Li Qing and Gao Yongling Arrested
Li Qing and Gao Yongling (genders unknown) from Lujiazhuang Village, Haotouzhuang Township, were reported to the police while posting Falun Gong materials in other villages before January 22, 2023, Chinese New Year Day. They were arrested and taken to Dongliuchun Township. They were each extorted of 1,000 yuan. Both practitioners returned home that day.
11. [Tieling City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Zhang Hongda Arrested
Mr. Zhang Hongda was arrested by officers from the Hongqi Police Station when he was distributing truth-clarification brochures in the Qinghe District. He is currently being held in the Kaiyuan City Detention Center.
12. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Practitioner He Arrested
Practitioner He (gender unknown) was caught on surveillance cameras while distributing truth-clarification materials in a residential community in 2022. He was arrested at noon on February 25, 2023, and He’s whereabouts are unknown.
13. [Beijing] Mr. Wang Weiming Arrested
Mr. Wang Weiming from Xia Village, Shilou Town, Fangshan District, went to Erzhan Village, Shilou Town, to distribute pamphlets on December 27, 2022. He was captured on the dashboard camera of a Shilou Town Police Station police vehicle. Mr. Wang was arrested by officers from the station and was taken to the Yanshan Pre-trial Center that day.
On December 28, Shilou Town Police Station wanted to detain Mr. Wang, but the Fangshan District Detention Center refused to accept him, as he failed the physical examination at Fangshan No. 1 Hospital. Officers from the Shilou Police Station told Mr. Wang’s family to apply for his release on bail, and he returned home that day.
Officers from the police station took a computer, Falun Gong books, a picture of the founder of Falun Gong, audio players, and brochures from Mr. Wang’s home.
