(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 7 cities or counties in 4 provinces, where at least 11 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

7. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Mr. Yang Zi Arrested and Dawei Harassed
8. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Yang Meilin Arrested
1. [Linghai City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Yan Lijun Detained
Ms. Yan Lijun from Xin’an Village, Jianye Township was incarcerated in the Shenyang Women’s Prison. Her family visited her for the first time on January 14, 2023. Her eyesight has deteriorated and she has trouble seeing.
Ms. Yan’s family member was harassed by three or four officers from the Jianye Township Police Station on February 21, 2023. They took some photos.
2. [Deyang City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Jian Yicong Missing
Ms. Jian Yicong from Huangxu Town of Jingyang District, 60, has not been heard from since February 20, 2023. The family received a call from police the day before. They said they would take Ms. Jian away.
Ms. Jian was arrested at home by officers from the Lushanlu Police Station on July 19, 2022. The police ransacked her home and confiscated her computer, printer and other personal belongings. Ms. Jian was released later.
3. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Yin Arrested and Detained
Ms. Yin, 70, from Zhaochunyuan Community, Kuiwen District, was arrested on the afternoon of February 16, 2023. Her home was ransacked. She is currently held in the Weifang Detention Center.
4. [Beijing] Ms. Lang Dongyue Faces Trial
Ms. Lang Dongyue from the Yanqing District was arrested in Huailai County, Hebei Province on December 14, 2021 and has been detained since. She was scheduled to be tried in the Xuanhua District Court, Zhangjiakou City on February 22, 2023 but it was delayed and was rescheduled to March 8, 2023.
5. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Mr. Wang Qixue Arrested and Detained
Mr. Wang Qixue from Nong’an County was arrested and sent to the Weizigou Detention House. He was placed under 10-day detention and will be released on March 2, 2023. His family was not allowed to visit him.
6. [Helong City, Jilin Province] Three Practitioners Persecuted
Ms. Sun Rong was arrested by officers from the Erpaihe District Police Department on September 1, 2022. The police ransacked her home and confiscated her printer, computer, Falun Gong books, etc. She was held in the Yanji Detention Center.
Ms. Li Hong was arrested by officers from the Erpaihe District Police Department on August 30, 2022. Her home in Helong City and beauty shop in Yanji City were both ransacked by police. She was detained in the Yanji City Detention Center and later sentenced to seven years in prison.
Ms. Li Jie was arrested in May 2022. She was later sentenced to seven years in prison.
7. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Mr. Yang Zi Arrested and Dawei Harassed
Mr. Yang Zi was arrested recently.
Twelve officers from the Erdao District Police Department went Dawei’s home in Keche New District on February 22, 2023. They knocked on the door and tried to get in. They returned that evening and pried open the lock. There was only one family member at home, who was lying in bed and unable to take care of himself.
8. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Yang Meilin Arrested
Ms. Yang Meilin from Zhifu District was arrested at home on February 15, 2023. Her Falun Gong books were confiscated. She was released on bail pending trial that evening due to her high blood pressure.
