(Minghui.org) I have always had a wish to write down my experiences of introducing Falun Dafa and raising awareness of the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution to the American people because I have witnessed their aversion to the CCP and their deep sympathy for the Chinese people. I was touched by a young man’s words yesterday, and that prompted me to start writing this article.

I have been exposing the CCP’s persecution and collecting signatures on a petition at a train station every day after work for the past several months. Despite the snow yesterday, I went to the train station as usual. It was warm in the departure hall of the train station. A young man listened to my explanation, signed the petition, and left.

As I looked for the next person to talk to, a tall young man walked over and was looking at me with a smile. I approached him and planned to talk to him. He took out a little lotus flower from his bag. I realized that he had learned about Falun Dafa and signed the petition. He must have gotten the lotus flower from me. I don’t remember him, since I talk to so many people every day. I smiled back.

The young man told me, “I read the brochure you gave me while I was riding the train. I cried thinking about the CCP’s organ-harvesting crimes. It made all my daily troubles so trivial. I thought of you. You have a job, but you spend your time telling us these things. I wish I could do something to help.”

I thought I should tell him about Falun Dafa because Dafa would guide him toward righteous actions. Pointing at a picture of the book Zhuan Falun on a flyer, I asked him if he had read the book and told him that the book taught people how to be good. He said he would like to read it and took a picture of the page with his cell phone.

He asked me if it would take a war in China for the Communist Party to collapse. I replied, “Maybe not. If everyone in the world understood the evil nature of the Chinese Communist Party as you do, no one would support it and it would be cast away.” He laughed and looked relieved. “A peaceful war,” he said. He told me that his name was Brian. I told him my name. We ran into each other again later. Brian greeted me by name from far away, like an old friend.

I know that truth-clarification brings people closer to each other because safeguarding the truth is admirable. I understand that it’s a peaceful form of resolution that Master Li (Dafa’s founder) would like to leave to later generations. No matter how complicated things become, or how severe the suppression is, truth-clarification can solve problems peacefully.

One day, I met a middle-aged woman with a girl and a boy. She told me that she had heard about the CCP’s conduct and she would like to sign the petition. She looked excited. I could see that her hands were shaking.

The woman told her two children to sign as well. She promised them that she would tell them in detail why they should sign. They slowly and carefully wrote their names. The woman kissed their foreheads and thanked them. She told me that her brother had gone to China to teach English, but couldn’t come home because of the pandemic lockdowns in China. She said she felt sad and helpless. I felt so sorry and ashamed that my country hadn’t treated her brother well.

Months have passed, but I can’t forget that woman. I can feel her sadness. Her brother must have held a wonderful wish when he went to China to teach English, but he lost the freedom to return home. I hope he has made his way back now and is reunited with his family.

One time, I told a young mother about the persecution in China. Tears came to her eyes the moment she heard some of the facts about the persecution. She tried to hold back her tears while signing the petition. The tragedies created by the CCP came to my mind one after another. I couldn’t help crying too. I had to turn around and leave after thanking her and giving her a flyer.

I ran into a family waiting for their train today. The man had an impressive presence. He signed quickly after hearing about the persecution. Their train arrived at that time, but he told me before boarding, “I have a business in China. The Chinese people are nice, but the government is wicked!” I told him that I was happy to hear that he could distinguish the Chinese people from the Communist Party and that the Communist Party didn’t originate in China. He looked at me as if he had a lot to say, but he had to turn around to board the train.

I distribute flyers with an introduction to Falun Gong and facts about the persecution with pictures. It creates a sharp contrast between the beautiful exercises and the CCP’s brutal crimes. Many people signed the petition after seeing the pictures that illustrate the CCP’s violence against Falun Gong practitioners. They agreed with me when I told them about the CCP’s history of killing, as I pointed at a list of the CCP’s crimes against people on another page of the flyer.

Many people have asked me for another copy of the flyer to share with others. Some said they would share the information on their social media. A woman said that her daughter was adopted from China, and she would show the flyer to her daughter. An old man was eager to find out more about the Falun Gong exercises after hearing about the benefits.

The security guards at the train station didn’t allow me to collect signatures inside the hall at first, but after my persistent truth clarification, none of the employees stop me anymore. They understand what I’m doing. More importantly, they have chosen to stand on the righteous side.

More than 9,000 people have signed the petition at the train station over the past eight months. So many people have told me, “Thank you for doing this!” “Keep up the good work!” “I’m with you!” “You have my support!”

Occasionally, I hear a question from some simple and kind people, “Are you against the Chinese? They are nice people.” I explain to them that the Chinese Communist Party isn’t China, that the Party doesn’t represent the Chinese people, and that it has trampled on the human rights of the Chinese people. The distinction dawned on them. All of them signed the petition, without exception.

I’m determined to continue my signature collection this year, do the three things well, and bring the blessings of Falun Dafa to more people.

The above are my cultivation experiences. Please feel free to point out anything inappropriate.
