(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners in Sweden commemorated the 24th anniversary of the April 25 appeal outside the Chinese Embassy in Stockholm on the morning of April 22, 2023. They protested the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution and called for an end to the brutalities.

Daniel, a young Falun Gong practitioner, advised those who work at the Chinese embassy to wake up and withdraw from the CCP and its youth organizations as soon as possible.
He said, “The CCP announced that it would eliminate Falun Gong in three months. Now the Party is just struggling to survive as it disintegrates. More than 400 million people have quit the CCP and its youth organizations. The demise of the CCP is just around the corner.”
He hoped that the embassy officials would have the courage to learn about the persecution, withdraw from the CCP organizations as soon as possible, and stop participating in the persecution of Falun Gong. “When you carry out the CCP’s orders, please follow your conscience, leave a way out for yourself and your family, and choose a better future!”
People Support Practitioners’ Efforts to Protest the Persecution
The day of the event coincided with the Stockholm Marathon, which passed in front of the Chinese Embassy. Accompanied by their exercise music, Falun Gong practitioners demonstrated the graceful Falun Dafa (also called Falun Gong) exercises. The event was quiet and peaceful and attracted the attention of passersby and vehicles. Most of the vehicles slowed down when they passed. Some drivers honked their horns to show their respect, and some passersby stopped and talked to practitioners to find out more.
Talking to passersby about the persecution
Sara stopped to watch and talked with the practitioners for a long time. When she learned that the CCP persecutes Falun Gong practitioners who follow Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and has even harvested vital organs from living people, she was shocked and said that it was beyond her comprehension.
After practitioners told her about Falun Gong, Sara signed the petition and said she was willing to support the end of the persecution of Falun Gong. She said, “Now I know just how hypocritical, evil, and prone to violence the CCP is. I can understand what you are doing. The CCP cannot tolerate Falun Gong’s principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. Thank you for standing up and letting more people know about this.”
A Swedish man who said he liked to travel all over the world said he was not surprised when he learned that the CCP harvested organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. “A few years ago, I learned a lot about that when I was surfing the Internet. Since then, I have made a decision that I will never travel to those communist countries (including CCP-controlled China) again.” He said that he was very supportive of Falun Gong practitioners’ efforts to end the persecution.
During the past 24 years, those who live near the Chinese embassy in Stockholm have witnessed Falun Gong practitioners’ protesting in front of it. Many people have learned about Falun Gong and expressed their admiration for practitioners’ long-term persistence in peacefully and rationally raising awareness and opposing the persecution.
Two elderly passersby told practitioners that they had gone to China a long time ago. They had a better understanding of the current situation within the CCP and knew that it has indeed done many terrible things. One of them said, “Falun Gong practitioners are doing very well. So you must persevere.”
