(Minghui.org) I am a young practitioner who stepped into Dafa cultivation after the persecution was launched on July 20, 1999. I am fortunate to have cultivated for 11 years. My individual cultivation, validating Dafa, and clarifying the truth are all intertwined and integrated. Saving people has always been an important but difficult part of my cultivation.
The practitioners I come in contact with are few. I make each flier and phone call myself, without being asked. In spite of having many regrets, my heart always holds compassion for sentient beings and remembers the mission given by Master.
I began to clarify the facts to people about Falun Dafa on the first day I learned Dafa. I did not hold any fear, nor did I know of many instances of persecution. Falun Dafa had given me a new life and changed me completely. All I thought about was telling the people around me about the benefits I had gotten from Falun Dafa.
I was the last one to move into our company’s apartments. A fellow practitioner who lived in the same building had already told several neighboring residents of ours the facts about Dafa. One of them still had not quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) or its youth organizations, although she had come in contact with Dafa for many years. After seeing the changes in me and hearing my thoughts and experiences, she actively sought the help of that practitioner and quit the CCP organizations. My fellow practitioner felt encouraged and became more diligent in clarifying the truth, while I always helped her.
I experienced more and more changes as time went by, and amazing occurrences kept coming my way. I was more devoted to telling people the facts. I told my family members who came to visit from my hometown how wonderful Dafa is, and that they needed to quit the CCP organizations to become safe.
My father-in-law said, “This is getting involved in politics. People have agendas.” I said, “What agenda? Did they want your money or your body? You are a farmer. How much money do you have? Your body is weak given your age. Can you fight?” My father-in-law burst into laughter. I said, “All we citizens want is to be healthy and live a peaceful life. Quitting the CCP will bring you blessings. It won't cost you a dime.”
There are many Party members at my company. They are well-educated. I showed my colleagues videos such as “Minghui Ten Directions,” “We Tell the Future,” “The Age of Legends,” “Life in the Rain,” and others. I gave each of them different videos based on what best suited their mindsets.
The environment was relatively relaxed at that time. Some colleagues talked to me about the Cultural Revolution, “June 4th,” and Dafa cultivation. They knew more than I did. Most of them were able to quit the CCP organizations. Some did not quit after talking to them once or twice, but did quit after several years. One of the department managers spoke uprightly when he quit the CCP, which was reported in the “China Forbidden News.”
I once talked to a colleague into quitting the CCP, but he seemed to still have some misunderstandings. He later became a branch director. At that time, the colleagues and my manager became unfriendly towards me and put a lot of pressure on me. For example, a colleague said to me quietly, “Falun Gong is very political. What you are doing is dangerous. You know China is different from overseas; the communist party controls the military and all the power.” I said, “What political goal do we have? Take me for example, do you see me seeking a position?” He agreed that my intentions were pure.
Another colleague said they were concerned that I might have been misled. I said I am not easily misled. Moreover, there are a hundred million people around the world practicing Falun Dafa – can they all be stupid? They actually benefited personally. They do not give up their belief even if they are arrested, beaten, or forced to stay away from home. He said, “Can it be so? Isn’t it superstitious?” I said, “People with cancer have recovered after practicing Falun Dafa. Such people have had no need for medicine for decades. These are true miracles.”
After I studied the Fa and cultivated for a while, Master enlightened me to see that people like this colleague only learned the truth about Dafa from a sentimental point of view – he did not believe it in his heart. Also, as the external environment worsens, it puts more pressure on them as well. They were afraid that I would reveal the fact that they quit the CCP organizations. To help them with this, I applied to quit the CCP in my company in an open and dignified manner. My colleagues were stunned.
Aside from clarifying the truth face-to-face, I also did so using my cell phone, an Internet card, and distributing materials. To increase my time to do more, I distributed materials on my way to and from work, made phone calls when I walked or waited for people, I played the audio player aloud when there were people around to send recorded truth-clarification messages to people by phone and mailed the information to people whom I could not directly talk to. I did all sorts of things.
Telling people the facts about Falun Dafa can be very simple, but extremely varied. I am writing to share my experiences with fellow practitioners and offer encouragement.
