(Minghui.org) Local Falun Dafa practitioners were invited to demonstrate the exercises of the cultivation practice during a local arts festival in Limache on April 9, 2023. Many of the artists who attended the festival were intrigued by the cultivation practice, and showed their support for the practitioners' peaceful effort to end the ongoing persecution by the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution in China.

Exhibitors at the show wanted to help spread information about Falun Dafa.

Expo Parati, a group of local artists and craftsmen, put together the event in San Francisco de Limache, one of Limache’s urban centers, with the objective of “enriching people’s lives and souls.” The festival was celebrated in a park and attracted many passersby.

Two practitioners went to demonstrate the exercises at the event and then spoke with the artists. They were distributing Falun Dafa fliers to those who were interested in learning more about the practice. The attendees showed great empathy for the suffering endured by the practitioners in China, and were happy to learn about the preciousness of Falun Dafa.

Don Juan Egaña, an artisan dedicated to making traditional wooden games, asked to take several Falun Dafa fliers, which he wanted to share with his friends, colleagues, and family. A few costume designers, including Macarena del Valle, made a similar offer, asking the practitioners to put fliers on their display table. They hoped for event visitors to learn about the importance of Falun Dafa.

A young woman named Susy Valencia from nearby Nogales was also motivated after learning about the practice. Two members of a venture dedicated to macramé and interior decoration asked about attending the weekly Falun Dafa practice in Limache.

In addition to Falun Dafa’s exercises and its guiding principles of “Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance”, the practitioners also told the artists and craftsmen about the CCP’s persecution of Falun Gong, and the human rights violations that practitioners have suffered for 24 years committed by the CCP regime.

Johanna Hevia, a crocheter, reviewed the Falun Dafa flier.

Former CCP leader Jiang Zemin defamed Falun Gong and ordered cruel attacks on millions of practitioners in China.

One of the artisans present at the event, dedicated to working with ceramic mosaics, was especially sad when she found out what was happening and showed her solidarity with Falun Gong practitioners.

Following the warm reception the practitioners got at the Limache festival, the organizers of the festival invited local practitioners to demonstrate the Falun Dafa exercises at a bigger event they were going to host in May, taking place in Parque Brazil.
