(Minghui.org) May 13, 2023, was World Falun Dafa Day and also the 72nd birthday of Master Li Hongzhi, the founder of Falun Dafa. On this day when the heavens and earth rejoiced, Falun Dafa practitioners held a series of celebratory activities in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Practitioners gathered at the Chinese Embassy at 10 a.m. and held banners that read “Falun Dafa Is Good” and “Stop the Persecution of Falun Dafa.” Their peaceful message was for people to disassociate themselves from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) so they may have a bright future.
Practitioners gathered at the Chinese Embassy on the morning of World Falun Dafa Day, May 13, and talked to people about how it’s persecuted in China.
The Chinese Embassy in Copenhagen is located in an upscale neighborhood. Since the CCP’s launch of the nationwide persecution of Falun Dafa in 1999, many practitioners in Denmark have gathered at the Chinese Embassy to call for it to end.
Many locals living nearby have learned the facts of the persecution thanks to practitioners’ efforts over the past 20 years. They’d wave or express their sympathy to practitioners whenever they pass by, and on the day of the activity it was no different; locals and drivers passed by and also expressed their support.
A woman came to talk to the practitioners and said, “I know about this inhumane persecution!” A practitioner told her that today was a joyous occasion and gave her a lotus flower as a present. In addition, a practitioner also told the woman about a newly established group practice site. She was very happy and promised to attend after inquiring about the time and place.
Local Resident: “Falun Dafa is indeed good!”
Falun Dafa practitioners from Denmark and neighboring cities in Sweden came to Copenhagen’s city center to spread the blessings of Falun Dafa and the 31st anniversary of the practice being made public.
A tourist from Afghanistan chatted with a practitioner and said that he was captured by the serene and peaceful atmosphere of Falun Dafa practitioners. Another local resident said smiling, “Falun Dafa is indeed good!” He said he’d like to learn more about the practice.
Danes Expressed Interest to Learn and Practice Falun Dafa’s Exercises

Falun Dafa sparked the interest of many local residents. One woman inquired about the different group practice sites in Copenhagen and said she plans to go.

A woman from Denmark named Kristen wanted to learn and practice Falun Dafa’s exercise movements after learning about their benefits. She felt very good after doing them and said that she would go to a group practice site to finish learning them.
Locals Support Practitioners’ Efforts to End the Persecution
A man who seemed like he was in a hurry passed by the practitioners’ informational booth and carefully read Falun Dafa flyers. He signed a petition calling for an end to the CCP and asked if he could take some informational materials with him.
Practitioners gave out lotus flowers with the words “Falun Dafa is good” and “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” written on them.
A man from Iran signed the petition after learning about how the CCP committed genocide and how it spread the COVID-19 virus around the world. He sighed and said, “I understand the suffering of the Chinese people because the same is also happening in my country.”
Local: “I will sign our names to resist the Chinese Communist Party!”
A Danish lady lingered around Falun Dafa practitioners and said, “I saw practitioners at the city center last year. I have read the words on the banners and know that practitioners are being persecuted by the CCP because they believe in Falun Dafa. I also know the cruel truth of forced live organ harvesting.” She signed the petition to help end the persecution of Falun Dafa.
Mainland Chinese Take a Bold Stance and Quit the CCP
There were many Chinese who passed by and listened attentively to practitioners explaining the facts of the persecution. They chose to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations to have a better future.
When a Chinese family walked up to the practitioners’ booth they were asked, “Did you know that Falun Dafa is being persecuted in China? Do you know that the Tiananmen self-immolation is a hoax?”
The man said, “Yes, I know.”
A practitioner said, “We live in Denmark and enjoy democracy and freedom. Do not sell your souls to the CCP!” The man agreed.
The Chinese couple agreed to withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organizations after learning the truth about Falun Dafa. A practitioner came up with pseudonyms for them and helped them withdraw from the Party’s organizations. In the meantime, their elderly mother also asked for a copy of Master Li’s lecture, “How Humankind Came To Be” and said she would read it once she got home.
