(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners in Austria held a peaceful protest activity in front of the Chinese Embassy on April 25, 2023. They called for ending the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) ongoing 24 years of persecution of Falun Gong.

A spokesperson from the Austria Falun Dafa Association described the spread of Falun Dafa, which began in 1992, and how CCP launched a nationwide persecution seven years later. He also called for an immediate end to the atrocities committed in the persecution.
Igoran, a Falun Dafa practitioner, spoke at the rally.
“This brutal persecution was instigated by Jiang Zemin, former head of the CCP. Hundreds of thousands of innocent Falun Dafa practitioners have been or are still victims, and face imprisonment, persecution, labor camp, and systematic forced live organ harvesting. Despite facing these atrocities, practitioners have remained peaceful and calm during these 24 years. It is similar to how practitioners in China demonstrated peacefully outside the State Appeals Office in Beijing on April 25, 1999.”
“Practitioners abide by the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and have exposed the CCP’s persecution to the world. They distribute truth-clarification flyers in thousands of cities, set up Falun Dafa informational booths, and host candlelight vigils to commemorate the practitioners persecuted to death in China.”
A young man learned about Falun Dafa for the first time and was shocked after hearing practitioners clarify the truth about the CCP’s ongoing persecution. As a way to show his support in ending the persecution, he gave consent to have his photo published.

A woman signed the petition even though she was in a hurry. She was hesitant at first and asked if signing the petition would cause her trouble. However, on second thought, she said, “I will sign anyway. I am not afraid of any troubles.” She wished practitioners well, and gladly accepted a paper lotus flower.
A practitioner clarified the truth to a representative from another embassy. The representative expressed his support to end the persecution by the CCP regime.

A driver was curious and asked why the practitioners were peacefully rallying. He expressed his support for the practitioners after learning about the April 25 Peaceful Appeal. He encouraged the practitioners to persist, and spread the truth of Falun Dafa to everyone. He wished the practitioners all the best.
A woman praised practitioners, saying, “I have seen practitioners in front of the Chinese embassy for many years!” She signed the petition and said, “You are doing a great thing.”
Practitioners replied, “We will not stop holding these peaceful resistance activities until the persecution ends.” The women wished practitioners well.
Christiana and other practitioners have been coming to the Chinese embassy every week for six years and hope to have more people learn about the persecution. Several passersby greeted her cordially and many had already signed the petition.
