(Minghui.org) I started to practice Falun Dafa, a traditional Chinese spiritual discipline for mind and body in 1997 when I was pregnant with my daughter. My beautiful baby girl inherited many good traits from us. She was always healthy and rarely got sick. We raised her with much ease. Many people have admired my daughter.
When my daughter was in kindergarten, I started to read Zhuan Falun, the main book of Falun Dafa, to her. Not long after, the teacher told me, “Your daughter is smart and spiritual.” I knew her wisdom came from Falun Dafa.
During her three years in kindergarten, she was never sick, a rarity for young children. She was not a big eater and some family members were concerned, but her annual physicals always indicated that she was healthy.
After the Chinese Communist Party started the persecution of Falun Dafa in July 1999, many of the general public were deceived by hate propaganda spread by the regime.
When my daughter was in elementary school, she told someone that her mother practices Falun Dafa. The person warned her, “If you tell this to others, your mother will be arrested.” Years later when she mentioned this, she told me that she was never afraid.
After my daughter learned how to read, we often read Zhuan Falun together. She told me that Master Li, the founder of Falun Dafa, was in her dream. Master gave her candy and took her to fly in the sky. I said, “Master is encouraging you to learn the Fa well.”
When my daughter was eleven years old, I was sentenced to prison because of my faith. This caused great mental pressure on my daughter. She became withdrawn, always sitting quietly by herself, and unwilling to talk to others. Thanks to Master, this period didn’t last long, and soon she regained her lively and cheerful personality.
But the mental pressure she suffered affected her academics. She didn’t do well in the first two years of middle school. When my husband visited me in prison, he told me that he worried that her academic performance was so bad that she might not be able to enter high school. I comforted him and assured him that Master would take care of our daughter.
My husband didn’t believe me in the beginning. But he was convinced when our daughter ranked 2nd in her class in the high school entrance examination and was accepted by a top high school. All my friends and relatives were amazed at how fortunate she was.
When I was released from prison, my daughter was preparing for the college entrance examination. She was under a lot of pressure, especially after she failed several mock exams. She cried, “Mom, I am afraid I might not be qualified to go to college.” I told her to just do her best. Once again, she outperformed in the exam and her score exceeded the threshold of top colleges.
All her teachers were surprised to see how well she did. And all of our relatives and friends were once again in awe of her good fortune. I told them that I believed it was because of Falun Dafa, as Master Li (Dafa’s founder) told us that our practicing Dafa would bring good luck to our families.
My daughter’s good fortune did not stop there. When she was in her third year of college, I heard a voice in my dream telling me that my daughter would have a good job with a well-paid salary. I didn’t take the dream seriously and soon forgot about it.
My daughter graduated in July 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. The job market in China was so bad that most college graduates couldn’t find a job. My daughter worried too. I told her, “Don’t worry. Everything has been arranged.”
“Who arranged it?” she asked me.
“Master Li,” I said to her.
As I expected, right after she graduated, she found a six-month internship in a large company with an excellent salary. We hoped she could get a return offer and become a permanent employee. And our wish came true––she was hired by this company after her internship ended. I remembered my dream and knew all of her blessings were given by Dafa.
My friends and relatives were amazed because at that time it was difficult to find a job for a graduate student, let alone an undergraduate. It was even harder to get a well-paying job. One of my friends’ sons graduated two years earlier than my daughter, from a better college, but he didn’t find a job until two years later.
