(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners hosted The Art of Zhen Shan Ren (Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance) International Exhibition at a museum in Bataysk, Russia, on May 15-31, 2023. A total of 24 art pieces were displayed during the 17-day exhibition. People from all walks of life came and were amazed by what they saw.
Bataysk is a city in Rostov Oblast, Russia, and has a population of 127,000. Practitioners have hosted the art exhibition 11 times in Bataysk.

The artists of these paintings are all Falun Dafa practitioners. Some art pieces represent the beauty of Falun Dafa, while other paintings portrayed the reality of the ongoing brutal persecution of Falun Dafa in China. Some of these artists have had firsthand experience of the persecution, and were fortunate to escape out of China.
Some visitors have never heard about Falun Dafa while others have viewed the exhibition annually. Many of the visitors were moved by the profound meaning of the artworks, and by the artists’ unwavering faith in Falun Dafa.

Natalia and Nadezhda came together and visited the art exhibition. They were shocked at how practitioners were being persecuted for their steadfast belief in Falun Dafa. Natalia said, “How can there be such a barbaric act in the 21st century! This kind of brutality is absolutely horrifying! We have never been told about this persecution and are very shocked!”

Dasha and Angela are good friends. Dasha is a manager while Angela works in sales. They viewed each painting carefully, and were particularly moved by the paintings that showed a connection between humankind and the divine. Dasha said, “These paintings show that people are starting to believe that God will bring more hope than the politics and governments.”
Julia Adalian was moved to tears when admiring the art pieces. She wrote in the message book, “I happened to pass by the art exhibition. It has left a deep impression on me. Falun Dafa practitioners’ stories have deeply moved my heart and brought me to tears. I had not known that such brutal acts are happening in China now!”
A mother of a six and eight-year-old wrote in the message book, “My children have listened to practitioners describing the paintings. Thank you. These art pieces will forever remain in their memories.”
Another visitor praised the artists for depicting an inner spiritual world. He wrote, “I really enjoyed this art exhibition. The paintings were great and they make you think about many important issues, such as spirituality. During times of difficulty, this becomes an important issue.”
Before leaving the art exhibition, visitors were given origami lotus flowers. The lotus flowers symbolizes purity and compassion and reminded people of Falun Dafa’s principles “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.”
