(Minghui.org) Practitioners held activities at Sweden’s Royal Palace, the Nobel Prize Museum, and Stockholm Concert Hall every Friday and Saturday afternoon in June 2023. They told people about Falun Dafa, how the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) persecutes those who practice and harvests organs from imprisoned practitioners for transplant. After learning about the situation in China, one passersby said, “The peacefulness of Falun Dafa truly touches my heart.” Another said, “Practitioners’ courage is admirable.”

Practitioners held truth-clarification activities at the Nobel Prize Museum in Stockholm to tell people about the CCP’s persecution and collect signatures on a petition to help end the atrocities.

The summer sun cast its warm rays on the plaza in front of the museum. Stockholm also known as “Northern Venice” had an abundance of colorful flowers that bloomed in time for Sweden’s Midsummer Festival. The Midsummer Festival is a traditional Swedish holiday that celebrates the summer solstice (the longest day of the year).

Chinese Professor: “I Admire Falun Dafa from the Bottom of My Heart.”

The peaceful scene of practitioners doing the exercises in front of Nobel Prize Museum one Friday afternoon in early June was in sharp contrast to the images on the poster boards that exposed the CCP’s brutal persecution including the forced organ harvesting. Passersby, including a Chinese professor, were shocked as they stopped and read the information.

The professor lingered near the activity. He watched practitioners as they did the exercises and he read the poster boards. He introduced himself and said he was from California and taught and did research on human anatomy. He said he heard about Falun Dafa practitioners having their organs forcibly removed while they are still alive.

“I did not expect to meet practitioners in Sweden. Falun Dafa’s peacefulness and practitioners’ rationality in resisting the persecution puts me in awe. I know that forced organ harvesting is real. From doing research in human anatomy, I realized that many wealthy people replace their organs to prolong their lives. It is obvious to me that these organs were all from young people and did not match the age of the recipient.”

He continued, “It is of utmost importance that practitioners continue exposing the truth about the forced organ harvesting crimes. Someone needs to stand up to this murderous crime. I truly admire your compassion and bravery.”

The professor got emotional after learning that many practitioners outside of China have been separated from their families in China for more than 20 years due to their belief in Falun Dafa. He said, “Although you cannot return to China, you are doing an important task! You are fulfilling a great mission. This is remarkable. I admire Falun Dafa from the bottom of my heart!”

Before leaving he encouraged practitioners once again, “You need to persist. You must persist!”

“It Is Everyone’s Responsibility to Uphold Justice.”

Practitioners held activities at Mynttorget, a plaza next to the Royal Palace in Stockholm, Sweden on June 17, 2023.

Polish tourists line up to sign the petition and support practitioners in ending the persecution during the event at Mynttorget Square in front of the Royal Palace in Stockholm on June 17.

Endless streams of people stopped by the practitioners’ booth to learn about Falun Dafa. The booth was located at Mynttorget Plaza, which is next to the Royal Palace in Stockholm. A group of Polish tourists stopped by with their tour guide. The guide read what was written on the truth-clarification display boards and explained about the persecution. She signed the petition and gave the tourists in her group time to read about the persecution.

Most of the people in the tour group were middle-aged or elderly. They carefully read the display boards. They lined up and patiently waited to sign the petition to help support practitioners in ending the persecution. They said Polish people either experienced Communism or heard how evil it is. Many of them said, “It is everyone’s responsibility to uphold justice.”

One young man from Warsaw chatted with practitioners for a long time and asked many questions about Falun Dafa. He said, “I feel very comfortable standing here. Falun Dafa is truly wonderful. However, I am quite upset knowing that these innocent people in China are subjected to the CCP’s brutal persecution. What can I do to help?”

A practitioner told him that he could sign the petition and also help by telling people about the persecution. He happily signed the petition before leaving. He came back after a while and brought along his younger brother, who also signed the petition. The man also took some pictures and said he would post them online so more people could learn about Falun Dafa.

“You Will Definitely Succeed!”

Practitioners held activities near the Stockholm Concert Hall on June 24, 2023.

Sweden celebrated the Midsummer Festival on June 24, 2023. It was a fine and sunny afternoon and practitioners held an event next to the Stockholm Concert Hall. They demonstrated the Falun Dafa exercises. The melodious music and the serene and tranquil atmosphere attracted many passersby. They read the poster boards, chatted with practitioners and learned about Falun Dafa. Many of them expressed their support and signed the petition. Some also said they were interested in learning the exercises.

A couple from Germany signed the petition and encouraged practitioners, “You must persist. Justice will always prevail!” The man shared a German idiom: “Hope never dies.” He explained, “Oftentimes when one falls in despair and feels hopeless, that's when hope appears. Only by persevering will darkness soon pass and a beacon will appear. You will succeed!”

A man from Bangladesh who immigrated to Sweden many years ago stopped and asked about Falun Dafa. He signed the petition after learning of the persecution and said he was interested in learning the practice. When he was told about a local group practice site in Stockholm’s city center every Sunday morning, he thanked practitioners and said he would attend.
