La Concha Beach is considered one of the most beautiful beaches in Spain. Practitioners set up their booth on the Concha Promenade and passersby stopped and talked with them. Many people said they were drawn to the soothing music as practitioners demonstrated the exercises. Some were shocked when they read the description of the CCP’s brutal torture methods, especially how it removes organs from practitioners while they are alive and how this inhumane method is used to enrich the CCP. These egregious human rights violations have been going on for over 20 years.
La Concha Beach is a popular tourist destination and practitioners prepared truth-clarification flyers in various languages. A petition was also available for people to sign to help end the persecution. Those who were in a hurry took flyers and said they would sign the petition online and tell their family and friends about Falun Dafa.
Mr. Esteban G. said that Falun Dafa shows people the true meaning of life.
Esteban G. signed the petition and told practitioners that he read about Falun Dafa in a magazine, Discovery Salud, and learned of the persecution. He manages a herb store and is interested in natural remedies.
He said, “Falun Dafa is based on the principles Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. The practice teaches people to better oneself, upgrades moral character, and changes one from within.” He said he was unable to comprehend why the CCP persecutes Falun Dafa.
Esteban said that he will tell people who come to his store about Falun Dafa and he hopes more people will know how wonderful Falun Dafa is.
Mr. Esteban said that he will tell others about Falun Dafa and the persecution.
Said and his wife are from Algeria. They took photos of practitioners’ posters and truth-clarification flyers and said they hope to tell others about Falun Dafa. Said mentioned that he previously heard how the CCP persecutes religious groups and he described it as “a dictatorship that uses unlimited ways of violence, enslaves the Chinese people, and controls the media to cover up its crimes.”
Marius admires Falun Dafa practitioners’ persistence and peaceful resistance in the face of injustice.
Marius from Barcelona said he did not know anything about Falun Dafa or about the persecution. He immediately signed the petition. He was very happy to hear that practitioners have group practice and Fa study sites in Barcelona. He said that he would tell his family and friends what he learned that day. He thanked the practitioners for telling him the facts and said he admired the way they persisted in peacefully resisting the persecution.
Xavier from San Sebastian thanked practitioners for holding the event and telling him about Falun Dafa and the information that is not well known to the public. Xavier believes that a petition is a way for the world to learn about Falun Dafa and hear the practitioners' message. It is a way to better the world.
Angela and Santiago from Pamplona carefully read the information about the persecution. They signed the petition and said that freedom of thought, belief, and expression are fundamental rights and that no totalitarian government can take them away.
