Bali, Indonesia: Falun Dafa Welcomed at Independence Day Parade
(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners participated in a parade to celebrate Indonesia’s 78th Independence Day on August 17, 2023. The event was held on Renon Square in Denpasar, the largest city on Bali Island, on August 13. Their beautiful performances and messages were warmly received.
Practitioners started the day by doing the Falun Dafa exercises at Renon Square, Denpasar, Bali, on August 13, 2023.
Practitioners did the Falun Dafa exercises at Renon Square at 6 a.m., before the parade began. The three-kilometer-long parade started at 7:30 and passed downtown Denpasar and government offices. Headed by the Tian Guo Marching Band, the Falun Dafa procession included a banner formation and a waist-drum team.
Many people said they were touched by the message of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and signed a petition calling to end the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution of Falun Dafa in China.

Falun Dafa (also known as Falun Gong) was first introduced to the public by Mr. Li Hongzhi in Changchun, China, in 1992. Millions of people who have embraced the teachings, which are based on the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, and have learned the five exercises, have experienced improved health and well-being.
