Former Secretary of State at the French Ministry of Education: The Persecution of Falun Dafa Cannot Be Accepted and Must Be Exposed
Ms. Françoise Hostalier is the former Secretary of State at the French Ministry of Education and former member of the French National Assembly. She said in her speech at the rally, “This persecution cannot be accepted. We must expose this in public!”
Ms. Françoise Hostalier, former Secretary of State at the French Ministry of Education called for release of the persecuted Falun Gong practitioners.
Ms. Hostalier pointed at the three statues behind her representing liberty, equality, and fraternity and told rally attendees, “This is a free square, therefore, we should uphold the freedom of Chinese citizens here. People should have freedom of thought, live freely, and practice cultivation freely. Yet, these are prohibited in China. We should expose these crimes.”
She censured the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) for destroying freedom of belief, imprisoning people’s spirits, and forbidding people from believing in anything other than Communist ideology. Not only that, for many years, under the rule of the CCP, human rights disasters that are, “despicable and extremely bad” such as torture and organ harvesting have happened. “All these must be made public,” she said.
She also said in her speech that there is enough evidence to clearly show the CCP is guilty of these crimes. “There is now much evidence on organ harvesting. In particular, those doctors, they were forced to carry out such surgeries. They regretted what they did now and came out to testify as well as tell the truth.
“It is indeed beyond belief, from doctors to the whole system in the country have participated in organ harvesting. Without the knowledge and consent of the CCP, all these would not have happened.”
She said, “Today’s China has returned to the horrific times during the Nazis. Yet why are people keeping silent? It is completely a crime against humanity, so why is the international society not doing anything about it?
“All these crimes, terror, including organ harvesting and wanton arrests are directed, organized actions. The CCP is the instigator and beneficiary, therefore we must expose it.”
She thanked practitioners who were there, “Thank goodness for activities such as the parade, thank goodness so many friends from Europe and all over the world for coming to this activity.”
She said that so many people coming together to expose this human rights catastrophe under the rule of the CCP will resonate with people. She also hopes people can, “unite and uphold human rights together particularly human rights in China.”
ETAC Member: People Should Do Something About the CCP’s Crimes Against Humanity

Christina, a member of the International Coalition to End Transplant Abuse in China (ETAC) said, “For at least 17 years, the Chinese government has been killing innocent, peaceful Falun Gong practitioners and selling their organs for profit.
“The Chinese government has established so-called, “death concentration camps,” and every year, tens of thousands of convicts disappear in these institutions. At the same time, organ transplants in China have increased significantly, in particular, since 2000, transplant tourism in China has increased.”
She called on France to stop all collaboration with Chinese universities and hospitals in the field of surgeries and transplants so as not to lead to doctors in France becoming accomplices in crimes against humanity. Organizations that have already begun partnerships should immediately stop working with China. She also called on the EU to carry out comprehensive, transparent investigations into China’s organ transplant operations.
“Trade is not an end in itself in this world, but to let people live a life with dignity. Values determine people’s destiny, therefore the new generation has the right as well as the responsibility to defend these values. We don’t want this world to change into one where people are viewed as objects without freedom.”
She appealed to people, “The top priority is to act on the Chinese government’s crimes against humanity.”
Representative of DAFOH in France: Let’s Act to Stop This Persecution
Harold King, representative of DAFOH in France spoke at the rally.
Harold King, representative of Doctors Against Forced Organ Harvesting (DAFOH) in France said in his speech at the rally that the mission of DAFOH is to speak up for Falun Gong practitioners murdered by the CCP and censure this genocide in the 21 st century. “I am referring to the CCP’s persecution of Falun Gong practitioners, in particular organ harvesting.
“Mention organ harvesting and it is the same as referring to the CCP and Falun Gong practitioners. The regime established a system of organ harvesting involving the police, hospitals, and legal system in China.”
He said that after analyzing all forms of evidence experts, “described organ harvesting as a cold, slow, silent form of genocide and this is hidden from public sight.”
Parliaments in Europe, the UK, Italy, Spain, Israel, Taiwan, Korea, Canada, and the US have amended their laws in response to evidence of organ harvesting.
Mr. King called on people to come together to stop the CCP from continuing to do evil. He asked people to act to end organ harvesting and stop the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners.

“For 24 years, many people have been persecuted. Furthermore, countless Falun Gong practitioners are victims of the CCP’s organ harvesting, it is akin to a nightmare about hell in the human world, but this is something that is truly taking place under the rule of the CCP.”
He called on people to help stop this brutal persecution and said, “We also hope the French government can stop the CCP from continuing to persecute Falun Gong practitioners and stop its crimes against humanity.”
Background: What Is Falun Dafa and Why Is the CCP Persecuting It?
Falun Dafa (also known as Falun Gong) was first introduced to the public by Mr. Li Hongzhi in Changchun, China, in 1992. The spiritual discipline is now practiced in over 100 countries and regions worldwide. Millions of people who have embraced the teachings, which are based on the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, and have learned the five exercises have experienced improved health and well-being.
Jiang Zemin, former head of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), perceived the spiritual discipline’s growing popularity as a threat to the CCP’s atheistic ideology, and on July 20, 1999, he issued an order to eradicate the practice.
Under Jiang’s personal direction, the CCP established the 610 Office, an extralegal security organization with the power to override the police and judicial systems and whose sole function is to carry out the persecution of Falun Dafa.
