(Minghui.org) I didn’t know how to cultivate in the past, I had strong show-off and competitive mentalities, and I was indoctrinated by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). When talking to people about Falun Dafa and the persecution, I would often tell them about prophecies and disasters, without considering whether they could accept what I said. In some cases, they did not like what I said and we would argue, which created a negative image of Dafa practitioners.
I realized that I had been indoctrinated by the CCP. I sent righteous thoughts to eliminate my competing and showing off mentalities and I have listened many of other practitioners’ sharings on the Minghui website about their experiences of eliminating the indoctrination, which had good effect.
When talking to people again, I was able to maintain a compassionate mind, and speak in a peaceful tone. I could speak to them patiently and I told people what Falun Dafa is, the preciousness of Falun Dafa, and about the spread of Falun Dafa throughout the world. I also told people how the evil CCP is persecuting Dafa, and that the CCP fabricated the Tiananmen self-immolation incident to slander Falun Dafa. I often mentioned that the CCP has been harvesting organs from living Falun Dafa practitioners. After telling them all that, I would advise people to quit the CCP and its organizations so they could have a safe future.
I recently noticed that I have changed, and so has the surrounding environment. When talking to people recently, I saw that they were more willing to listen. More and more people have awakened and their attitudes toward Dafa practitioners have changed. In the past, many people would not only refuse to listen to me, but they would also verbally abuse me, curse me, ridicule me, and some would even take photos of me and want to report me to the authorities. Nowadays, many people have taken the initiative to communicate with me and share their thoughts.
While I was talking to people at a market fair around the 2023 New Year holiday, a man said to me, “Do you know what kind of person I was before? I always argued with bad words when I heard Falun Dafa practitioners telling me about the practice and the persecution, but I no longer do that. From what you practitioners talk about, I observed what is happening in society and I believe what Falun Dafa practitioners say is real.
“The evil CCP has been in power for many years and has carried out waves of campaigns to harm good people, and they killed many people. The CCP consumed a large amount of financial and material resources to manipulate and control the people in order to sustain their control.
“The Chinese people cannot afford to buy a house, go to school, or see doctors, and now they cannot even afford to die. The three years of lockdown during the epidemic has pushed people to a dead end.
“The CCP then suddenly lifted the lockdown for its 20th National Congress, which caused a huge upsurge in the epidemic and it killed many people. My fellow villagers could not afford medicine, and many of them died.
“The economic situation in my village was ruined and many businesses closed. During the period of the Chinese New Year holiday, all the villagers complained and cursed the CCP at their family gatherings. Please tell me more, and I will never argue with you again.”
I was happy for him. I told him the Self-immolation Hoax on Tiananmen Square in detail and shared with him the information about the spread of Falun Dafa around the world.
He agreed strongly and said, “I really admire you Falun Dafa practitioners. Despite such a persecution, you have persisted in talking to people. The practitioners are amazing.”
I told him about quitting the CCP and its organizations for a safe future. He readily accepted what I said and quit the Young Pioneers he had joined when he was young.
One day, I gave a young man an amulet with Falun Dafa information. I pointed to the phrases “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” on it and told him, “If you sincerely recite the two phrases, you will receive blessings when danger strikes.” He happily accepted, and said, “I believe you, and I often did so. I have a relative who practices Falun Dafa and he has told us about Dafa, and we believe Falun Dafa is good. My relative has already helped us quit the CCP and its organizations, and I wear amulets all the time. I often recite ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good’ and I have experienced blessings.”
I asked him his experience, and he said, “One time when I was on my way driving back home after delivering goods, my vehicle had engine trouble. I was very sleepy at the time and I still had to drive more than 100 kilometers (about 62 miles) before getting home. I dared not shut the engine off to take a rest, fearing that if I shut off the engine, it would not re-start. I could only keep driving slowly. When I felt sleepy, I recited the two phrases and my sleepiness would soon be gone. I kept reciting while driving and I got home safely. I have really experienced miracles from reciting ‘Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.’”
I said, “Please tell others about your miraculous experience, and you will receive more blessings.” He said he would.
Another day, I met a man in his 80s. I handed him a copy of Master’s recent article “How Humankind Came To Be” and told him that the article tells a heavenly secret. I asked him to cherish and read it carefully, and I told him that he would be blessed once he understood it.
He said happily, “I like to read the materials you hand out. I don’t like to listen to the CCP’s broadcasts, which tells lies. I don't have my reading glasses with me, but I will read this as soon as I get home.”
Nowadays, many people take the initiative to share their thoughts with Dafa practitioners. Some have asked the practitioners for materials, and some have asked how they could obtain the main book of Falun Dafa, Zhuan Falun, and where they can learn the exercises.
Master’s Fa-rectification has awakened many lives, and Dafa practitioners are doing better and better in assisting Master in the Fa-rectification. I will cultivate myself diligently, do the three things well, fulfill my mission, and live up to Master’s compassionate salvation.
