(Minghui.org) I started practicing Falun Dafa in March 1999. I’d like to share some of my cultivation experiences and insights. Please kindly point out anything not in accordance with the Fa.
Rescuing My Practitioner Sister
I went to see my mother one day in 2011. When I got to her apartment she told me that my elder sister had been arrested and was being held at the police station. I became anxious and sad. This was the fourth time that she had been detained. I went to the police station right away and saw her in the reception room. I demanded that she be released immediately. I asked a police officer why she was arrested and what law she had broken. They said that they detained her on behalf of the National Security Division and didn’t have the right to release her.
I saw my sister writing a letter to clarify the truth to them. I joined her and talked about Falun Dafa to the police officers there. They listened to me without saying a word. After a while, the police station director said that if they kept listening to me, they would change their minds to support Falun Dafa. I continued talking. At about 6 p.m., a dozen police officers came in. The director asked me to leave, but I refused. He then asked an officer to forcibly make me leave.
I returned to the police station again the next day. The officer on duty said that my sister had been transferred to another police department overnight. I went to that police department, and when I arrived, I was told that my sister wasn’t there. They thought she’d be at the National Security Division, so I headed there. The officer there looked frightening and didn’t allow me to see my sister. The director of the National Security Division said that my sister had shouted, “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,” and she was against the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). He forcibly made us leave.
My sister was sent to the brainwashing center in the provincial capital on the third day. It was located in a remote area with no signs. It didn’t show up on GPS, either. After numerous twists and turns, I finally found it. I was led into a meeting room. Two people there were in charge of brainwashing practitioners, and asked me wickedly whether I practiced Falun Dafa, and why I went there. I didn’t answer their first question. I asked them where my sister was and what laws she violated, and if they had any evidence.
They said that my sister only went there to “study.” I told them that it was persecution, and a criminal act if they kept her there without reason. I demanded that my sister be freed immediately. I talked to them about Falun Dafa, but they didn’t listen and became angry. They threatened me that I should stay there to “study.”
I later learned that they wanted to have me persuade my sister to sign a guarantee statement promising to give up cultivation. They were disappointed that I refused to do that.
They didn’t let me in when I went there the second time. They said that I needed to provide permission from the local National Security Division. I went to the local National Security Division several times but didn’t get the permission. I then visited the home of an employee of the National Security Division. I clarified the truth to him and his wife. I told him not to commit crimes against Falun Dafa. His wife got angry with him because she asked him not to get involved in persecuting practitioners, but he didn’t listen. She was afraid and asked me how I knew their address.
I sent truth-clarification letters to the director of the 610 Office, and went to the brainwashing center many times. They failed to transform my sister and she was released unconditionally.
During the process of rescuing my sister, the CCP officials learned that I was a Falun Dafa practitioner and monitored me. I was not moved and kept saving sentient beings rationally. I have Falun Dafa with me and Master (Dafa’s founder) takes care of me. I sent forth righteous thoughts while I was outside, and recited Lunyu and poems from Hong Yin. I was full of positive energy. The CCP couldn’t do anything to me.
One day the CCP officials tried to arrest me. They asked the guard on duty in my residential area to stop me, but he didn’t follow their orders. I parked my car in the parking area and found eight people waiting for me outside the elevator. I recognized that two of them were from the local community center. I didn’t go upstairs. Instead, I went to see my mother who lived close by. Every 50 feet or so, one person was on duty and stared at me. I pleaded to Master for help. I had the thought in my mind that these people shouldn’t be able to move. It seemed that they couldn’t move. I stayed in my mother’s home until very late.
Clarifying the Truth to People
Thanks to Master’s protection, I have been able to walk my cultivation path smoothly over the past two decades. I am very grateful for Master’s compassionate salvation.
Clarifying the truth and saving sentient beings is what I want to do. I don’t feel I’ve lived the day in vain if I have saved even one person. One day my daughter asked me how many people had withdrawn from the CCP and its affiliated organizations. I told her the number and she said it was too low, and urged our Dafa practitioners to save more people. She is not a practitioner but knows that Falun Dafa is good and supports me. I realized that Master used her to give me a hint. If each practitioner could save at least one person every day, the CCP would have collapsed long ago, and so many people would not have been weeded out during the pandemic, from diseases, and from accidents and other catastrophes.
I realized that the process of clarifying the truth was also a process of cultivating my xinxing. At the beginning I didn’t clarify the truth well. People ran away because of my harsh words. Some people fiercely talked back to me, and others ignored me. I was not able to answer their questions. Some threatened to report me to the police.
Master unlocked my wisdom during the process. Thanks to the power of the Fa and practitioners’ help, I was able to make a breakthrough in clarifying the truth. I am now able to talk to people according to their attachments and understandings, and am able to persuade them to quit the CCP within a short period of time.
Fellow practitioners, let’s cultivate diligently, let go of attachments and human notions to save more sentient beings, and follow Master to return to our original homes.
