(Minghui.org) Mr. Li Hongzhi, the founder of Falun Dafa, published the article “How Humankind Came To Be” one year ago on January 20, 2023. He talked about the four stages of the universe (Formation, Stasis, Degeneration, and Destruction), how the Three Realms came into existence, and where mankind came from.
After this article was published, many Falun Dafa practitioners shared it with people both inside and outside China, digitally and in print. It was also the most-read article on Minghui in 2023.
“It was not until now that I learned the Creator does exist and we live in this world with a higher purpose,” wrote one reader. Another reader saw the article as a stream of fresh water pouring into the earthly world. Others said it answered three fundamental questions people have had since ancient times: who am I, where did I come from, and where will I go?
The article also coincided with significant changes in China. The Chinese public, who had been brainwashed for decades with communist doctrines of hatred, brutality, and atheism, have gained unprecedented courage and discernment between good and evil. Instead of accepting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)’s lies and tyranny, they have begun to advocate for kindness and justice.
In one chat group of retired teachers, someone shared a short video: the famine after the Great Leap Forward movement was not caused by natural disasters; rather, it was a man-made tragedy that took the lives of tens of millions.
Another retired teacher passed on a video from her daughter, who lives in Canada. The video explained how Jiang Zemin, a former CCP leader, launched the persecution of Falun Dafa in July 1999. To incite public hatred, Jiang and his followers manufactured the Self-Immolation Hoax at Tiananmen Square to defame Falun Dafa. In spite of the severe suppression and slander in China, the practice along with its principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is widely accepted in over 100 countries.
One young woman with an online name of “Stars in the Early Morning” found that there are over 1,000 Marxist-Leninist Institutes across China. She asked “experts” on the subject: If it’s true that “productivity determines production relations,” as claimed by Marx, how could one explain the so-called “production relations” in modern society with automated production lines and the accompanying unemployment crisis of all ages? Plus, Marx promoted shared resources and free education, but neither has been realized in China. Since these Marxist-Leninist “experts” cannot explain the situation, she questioned whether they be held accountable and face consequences for misleading the public.
There have been many such posts on social media platforms. Although they are seemingly trivial and scattered, like tiny rivers, they nourish the brainwashed minds with kindness, curiosity, and hope.
Facing the battle of good and evil, one needs to make a choice and take action. Any form of endorsement, big or small, or the sharing of a post could serve as a testimony of awakening.
As mankind, we are not forgotten, and we are constantly looked after. But we need to do our part to help those lost to awaken. Any effort will count, and our joint efforts will lead more people to a brighter future.
