(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners recently held an event in Gandia in Valencia to tell people about Falun Dafa (Falun Gong) and how the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) persecutes the spiritual discipline.

Residents and tourists sign the petition calling to stop the persecution.

Gandia is located next to the Mediterranean Sea and is in the Valencia Autonomous Community, eastern Spain, and is also a popular destination for tourists from around the world. Tourists come here from Spain, Europe, the U.S., Asia, and other countries.

Falun Dafa practitioners set up a booth in Paseo Rosa de los Vientos, the most popular area in Gandia, and distributed leaflets to tell people about the CCP’s persecution. Tourists who knew about the persecution were supportive of their efforts and signed the petition calling to end the CCP’s brutality.

Ms. Cristina said the CCP’s persecution must be stopped.

Ms. Cristina was visiting the area with her husband. She was stunned when she saw the photos and messages on the display boards that described the CCP’s atrocities. She immediately walked over to the practitioners and said, “This is simply too cruel! The CCP’s crimes must be stopped! What can I do for you?” When she learned that signing could help stop the persecution, she and her husband immediately signed the petition.

Marta and Candela hope more people will become aware of the persecution and help end it.

Marta and Candela are high school students. After learning about the CCP’s brutal persecution and the atrocities of forced organ harvesting, they immediately signed the petition to end it. They did not leave immediately but asked practitioners for more information about the persecution.

They said that they were responsible for organizing various activities at school, and topics related to human rights were one of the topics they paid special attention to. When they learned about the CCP’s human rights violations and inhumane persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners, they were deeply moved. They wished to organize an event about the persecution in China, hoping that more people would learn about the issue and protest it.
