(Minghui.org) My daughter complained about the hot and humid weather, so we kept the air conditioning on. She couldn’t sleep without it. Although the air conditioner was not in my bedroom, the room was cool. My left shoulder hurt one morning, and I thought: “It’s because of the cold.” I reminded myself that I’m a Falun Dafa cultivator, and I’m fine. The pain usually went away after I corrected my thinking.
Perhaps I had a notion that air conditioning is harmful. I had a similar pain in my left shoulder on August 18, 2023. It was sore, but it didn’t affect my doing the exercises. But the pain worsened, and eventually, I could barely lift my left hand. I ignored it and thought, “I may be eliminating karma.” But by the evening, my hand lost all strength, and it hurt when I touched it. My daughter had to cook dinner.
By nightfall, I was anxious and felt something was wrong. I couldn’t ignore it because I needed to do the exercises in the morning. If I was unable to move my arm, how could I do the fourth and the fifth exercise? When I sent righteous thoughts that night, I added a thought: “Master, please help me. I need to do the exercises, please help eliminate this interference!”
I got up as usual in the morning to do the exercises. When the music started, I thought: “Yesterday, I was only concerned about the fourth exercise. Can I really lift my arms during the first exercise and stretch them out?” I decided to just go ahead and do the exercises.
I reminded myself that Master was watching over me, and I was fine. When Master said “Buddha Maitreya Stretching His Back,” I raised my arms. It was amazing and I was very happy. But whenever Master said to relax, my arms would drop. Only the “Two Dragons Diving into the Sea” movement was steady and not too strenuous. The “Bodhisattva Touching the Lotus” movement was tiring, and my hands dropped when Master said to relax. Nevertheless, I completed each movement.
During the second exercise, the “Holding the Wheel” exercise I didn’t think about anything. Following Master’s direction: “Hold the Wheel in Front of the Head,” I lifted my hands to the required position. Amazingly, my arms didn’t hurt at all.
I didn’t dare slack off. I kept the movements correct and persisted despite the fatigue. I knew this was a battle between righteousness and evil in another dimension, and Master was protecting me and looking after me!
When holding the wheel in front of the abdomen, one’s hands should be lowered slowly, but mine dropped. Holding the wheel above the head was somewhat challenging, but I thought, with Master here, what is there to be afraid of? My hands went up! It was truly miraculous! Holding the wheel on the sides of my head was also challenging, but I persisted and made sure my movements were correct.
The third exercise was even more challenging because it involves constantly moving the arms up and down, which seemed like a test of my limits. But I didn’t hesitate. When Master said, “up and down movement,” my hands shot up. Even though my hands fell quickly, I managed to position them correctly.
After completing the first three exercises, I no longer feared the fourth exercise, and I performed it smoothly and effortlessly, even though this was the one I was most worried about.
The fifth exercise was also something I thought would be difficult, especially doing the half-circle motion above the head. However, after doing the previous sets, I was no longer afraid. After finishing all five exercises, the pain in my shoulder and the illusion of sickness karma disappeared. I could move freely, and it was as if I never was in pain! With Master’s protection, I overcame this tribulation. I’m deeply grateful to compassionate Master!
Now, doing the exercises is easy and I cherish them even more. I feel happy to be one of Master’s practitioners. I wanted to tell you how I overcame the illusion of sickness with Master’s help.
