(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 5 cities or counties in 4 provinces, where at least 17 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
1. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Huang Lanying and Ms. Chen Jing Arrested
2. [Shulan City, Jilin Province] Mr. Zhu Jifa Admitted to Prison
3. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Twelve Practitioners Harassed
4. [Huaihua City, Hunan Province] Ms. He Arrested
5. [Chongqing] Ms. Zeng Detained
1. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Huang Lanying and Ms. Chen Jing Arrested
Ms. Haung Lanying and Ms. Chen Jin were reported to the police for talking to people about Falun Gong in Chang’an Park and arrested on October 13, 2024. They were taken to the Qingyuan Street Police Station.
2. [Shulan City, Jilin Province] Mr. Zhu Jifa Admitted to Prison
Mr. Zhu Jifa was admitted to Gongzhuling Prison in September 2024 to serve an unknown term.
3. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Twelve Practitioners Harassed
Zhang Zhifa and Gu Jiayou, both village officials in Zhaoshai Village, Lanling Town, led the police to harass three practitioners: Ms. Zhang Shujie, Ms. Liu Shuying, and Chi Xianwen on September 15, 2024. They took photos of the practitioners.
Xu Youhe, a Xujiacun Village official, led police to harass five practitioners: Ms. Wang Xiuxia, Ms. Wang Xiuli, Ms. Wang Yali, Mr. Zhang Shude, and Ms. Wang Yanru between September 16 and 24, 2024.
Ms. Su Jinping from Tangjia Village and Ms. Liu Yan from Lanling Town were photographed by the police, Ms. Su on September 18 and and Ms. Liu on September 22, 2024.
Ms. Mu and Mr. Wang Zhenxing from Xinhong Village were harassed on the evening of September 24, 2024.
4. [Huaihua City, Hunan Province] Ms. He Arrested
When Ms. He, 83, went to visit her daughter on July 23, 2024, she was stopped at the gate of the residential community where her daughter lives and taken to the Tuanjie Police Station. They took photos of her and collected samples of her blood and fingerprints. She refused to sign the interrogation record. She was taken to the Xinyuan Police Station early in the evening. She still refused to cooperate with the police and was released that night.
5. [Chongqing] Ms. Zeng Detained
Ms. Zeng was reported to the police for posting information about Falun Gong around September 28, 2024. They tracked her down through the surveillance camera, arrested her, and ransacked her home. She was detained for 14 days and has been released.
