(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 11 cities or counties in 8 provinces, where at least 12 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
1. [Gongzhuling City, Jilin Province] Mr. Xu Derong Arrested
2. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Liang Yening Denied Family Visits in Prison

4. [Fuzhou City, Fujian Province] Ms. Huang Meiying Arrested and Detained
5. [Maoming City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Liang Qiuyuan Arrested
6. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Chen Jinqing Sentenced to Three Years and Six Months in Prison
7. [Bayan County, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Zhang Fengming Not Allowed to Travel
8. [Haicheng City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Han Baolai Harassed
9. [Deyang City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Wu Zenghui’s Mother Harassed
10. [Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province] Ms. Ren Xiaoqing and Her Daughter Arrested
11. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Zhang Arrested
1. [Gongzhuling City, Jilin Province] Mr. Xu Derong Arrested
Mr. Xu Derong, 73, from Qinjiatun Town, was arrested on April 19, 2024. His family haven’t received any update about him since. Prior to his latest arrest, he served one year of forced labor ten years ago and was forced to live away from home to avoid further persecution after he was released.
2. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Liang Yening Denied Family Visits in Prison
Ms. Liang Yening was sentenced to six years in prison and fined 5,000 yuan by the Qiaoxi District Court on July 12, 2023. She has been deprived of family visits after she was admitted to the prison.
3. [Chongqing] Ms. Fei Mingyan Harassed
Ms. Fei Mingyan was harassed at home by staff members from the Fuqiang Community Office in Wulidian Subdistrict, Jiangbei District, on the morning of September 26, 2024. They took her photos against her will.
4. [Fuzhou City, Fujian Province] Ms. Huang Meiying Arrested
Ms. Huang Meiying was arrested by officers from the Aofeng Police Station on the evening of September 26, 2024. She was placed under a 10-day detention.
5. [Maoming City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Liang Qiuyuan Arrested
Ms. Liang Qiuying from Poxin Town, Maogang District, was arrested by officers from the Dianbai District Domestic Security Division and the Poxin Police Station on September 13, 2024. Her current whereabouts are unknown.
6. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Chen Jinqing Sentenced to Three Years and Six Months in Prison
The daughter of Ms. Chen Jinqing learned that her mother had been sentenced to three years and six months in prison and would be transferred to the Guangzhou City Women’s Prison in mid-October 2024, when she went to the Haizhu District Court to inquire about her mother’s case on September 19, 2024.
7. [Bayan County, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Zhang Fengming Not Allowed to Travel
When Mr. Zhang Fengmin and his wife from Xinglong Town were waiting to board a train to Jixi City in the same province to visit a sick relative in early June 2024, the police came to search his luggage. Upon finding a Falun Gong book, they ordered him to go home. Mr. Zhang and his wife had to cancel the trip.
8. [Haicheng City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Han Baolai Harassed
Yang Dong, head of the Zhongxiao Town Police Station, and some agents from the Haicheng City Political and Legal Affairs Committee, harassed Mr. Han Baolai at home on the morning of September 30, 2024. They searched his place and took his photos against his will.
9. [Deyang City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Wu Zenghui’s Mother Harassed
Five officers from Deyang City went to the home of Mr. Wu Zenghui’s mother on the morning of September 12, 2024. They searched her home and confiscated several Falun Gong books and a photo of Falun Gong’s founder. They threatened the elderly woman, who doesn’t practice Falun Gong herself, that she should persuade her son to give up Falun Gong.
10. [Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province] Ms. Ren Xiaoqing and Her Daughter Arrested
Ms. Ren Xiaoqing was recently harassed at home by officers from the Wenshui Domestic Security Division. The police also took her to her daughter’s home and searched there. Both Ms. Ren and her daughter didn’t return home that evening. Officers from the Miaoqian Police Station, Wenshui Domestic Security Division, and the local community office, stayed outside of Ms. Ren’s home, waiting to arrest other local Falun Gong practitioners when they come to visit Ms. Ren.
11. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Zhang Arrested
Ms. Zhang, around 70 and from Pingfang District, was arrested by officers from Nangang District on the morning of September 20, 2024. Her home was ransacked.
