(Minghui.org) The China Fahui is like an exam where we submit our papers to Master Li. It is also an opportunity for us to summarize and reflect on our cultivation state. In clarifying the truth, besides focusing on the adults, we also must not overlook the school students. On the weekends and holidays, there are many students in places such as major parks, bus and train stations, and piers, and these present excellent opportunities to clarify the truth to them.

I would like to discuss how I clarify the truth to students and help them to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its youth organizations. Students typically travel in small groups, and normally they don’t like to talk with adults. In addition, due to the indoctrination of CCP culture and the defamation of Falun Dafa in schools, they often know very little about cultivation or traditional values. Therefore, we must be mindful of our methods when talking to them and encouraging them to quit the Party.

As cultivators, we should always maintain a peaceful attitude and greet the students with an amiable, approachable manner. I usually start by saying, “Hello! Are you students in school? Which grade are you in?” They generally respond. At this point, I warmly tell them, “I’m a retired teacher, and I liked teaching students a lot.” The students often show respect and engage in conversation with me. I can then ask questions related to their studies and discuss the subjects with them. This naturally leads to truth-clarification and quitting the CCP.

I greeted three girls in a park one time, who were sitting on a bench. They told me that they were in 11th grade and offered me a spot on the bench. I sat down and told them I was a retired teacher who taught Chinese. I then asked them if we could discuss something. I said, “A good essay can be summed up in six Chinese characters. Do you know what they are?” They couldn’t think of any. So I gave them the answer, “Phoenix head (start), pig belly (middle), leopard tail (end).” They were very intrigued by my reply. I continued, “You can practice to use this standard as you write, and I’m sure you will earn high marks on your college entrance exam essay.”

They were visibly touched by my words, and I then shifted the topic and began to clarify the truth. I explained to them, “People today often lack morality, conscience, respect for heaven and earth, and belief in gods and Buddhas. They dare to do any bad things for money. When people fail to correct themselves, Heaven will act. You can check on the Internet to see the many prophecies, both Chinese and Western, that indicate only fortunate people can make it through these years. For the sake of your own and your family’s health and safety, you need to do two things:

“1. Remember ‘Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good, Falun Dafa is good.’ Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance are universal principles. They are heavenly laws and eternal truths. Today’s society lacks these values, and instead, ‘falsehood, evil, and class struggle’ permeate society, which is why disasters keep happening.

“2. Withdraw from the CCP and its youth organizations, including the Youth League, and Young Pioneers. Most people in these organizations are good people. But they can only get through the catastrophes by rejecting the oath they made when joining these organizations. Withdrawing from them is the only way, or else they will be in great danger.”

They told me they had all joined the Youth League and Young Pioneers, and all decided to withdraw. I gave them Dafa amulets and informational materials from Minghui.org. As they left, they thanked me repeatedly and asked for my phone number, saying they wanted to ask me for advice before their college entrance exams.

Another time, I met an 11th-grade girl in the park. After learning that I was a retired teacher, she talked to me about essay writing. I then shifted the conversation and told her about my granddaughter. My granddaughter remembered “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good, Falun Dafa is good” from a young age, and she later withdrew from the Youth League and Young Pioneers. As a result, her studies went smoothly, and she ultimately graduated with a master’s degree. Her boyfriend in college was also influenced by her and remembered “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good, Falun Dafa is good” and withdrew from the Youth League and Young Pioneers. He also graduated with a master’s degree. After graduation, both of them found good jobs. Now, they are happily married with a healthy child. After hearing this, the girl willingly accepted the truth I shared about Dafa and withdrew from the Youth League and Young Pioneers.

In another park, I met three sixth-grade girls. After discussing how to write good narrative essays, I quickly shifted to truth-clarification and they agreed to withdraw from the Young Pioneers. I encouraged them to be good people by following the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, and explained to them further, “Truthfulness means believing in the truth, speaking truthfully, acting truthfully, respecting your parents, and having morality and conscience. Compassion means being diligent and kind, being considerate of others, helping others, being sympathetic for the weak, and avoiding selfishness and greed. Forbearance means being willing to endure losses, and avoiding quarreling or fighting with others.”

Then, I explained the wisdom contained in the Chinese character for virtue, “The way this character is written signifies that gods and Buddhas across the cosmos are watching everyone’s actions and thoughts from heaven. The good deeds one does are recorded, as are the bad ones.” Then, I shared a story about two children walking on a road. When they came across a rock in the middle of the road, the first child walked around it, while the second child bent down, and moved it to the side of the road.

I asked the three girls, “Which child do you want to be like?” They replied in unison that they wanted to be like the second child, who did the good deed. Through this story, the three students immediately grasped the concept of good and bad and together with the meaning of the Chinese character for “virtue,” they understood the heavenly law of good actions will receive blessings and bad actions will be met with retribution.

In the end, I asked them to write in their diaries about what they had learned today and report it to their parents and teachers. The girls thanked me as they were leaving.

Epilogue

The experiences shared above are a summary of my years of clarifying the truth to students and encouraging them to quit the CCP and its youth organizations. I have realized for this special group, we must consider their capacity of understanding the truth, and be mindful of our approach. This ensures that students and parents can accept the truth, and it does not cause any negative impression of Dafa practitioners clarifying the truth.

Of course, there were students that I was not able to have a productive conversation with, but I did not hold any resentment toward them. I looked within, and knew that it was because I did not study the Fa well enough and my xinxing level was not there. I could only hope that these students will encounter other practitioners who will offer them another chance to be saved.
