(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 12 cities or counties in 8 provinces, where at least 19 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
1. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner He Shurong Sentenced to Prison
2. [Xingcheng City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Xia Ning Arrested
3. [Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province] Ms. Wang Xingmei Arrested
4. [Fuzhou City, Fujian Province] Ms. Lin Ru and Ms. Chen Weifang Held in Detention Center
5. [Juancheng County, Shandong Province] Mr. Li Quanfeng Served Four Years in Prison
6. [Huadian City, Jilin Province] Ms. Liu Shuying’s Home Ransacked
7. [Shanghai] Ms. Pei Shanzhen Monitored Around the Clock
8. [Beijing] Mr. Zhang Jinsong Sentenced to Prison
9. [Suihua City, Heilongjiang Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

12. [Huainan City, Anhui Province] Mr. Hu Yanhua and Ms. Lin Given Probation Terms
1. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner He Shurong Sentenced to Prison
Practitioner He Shurong was arrested by officers from Huanghai Road Police Station in the Jinpu New Area on May 2, 2023. The officers ransacked He’s home and confiscated two computers, one printer, printed materials, and all of his Falun Gong books. He was held in Yaojia Detention Center, and has subsequently been sentenced to three years and six months in prison.
2. [Xingcheng City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Xia Ning Arrested
Ms. Xia Ning was arrested by three police officers while distributing calendars with Falun Gong content at the Nanguan Qinggong Market on the afternoon of November 5, 2024. Her home was ransacked.
3. [Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province] Ms. Wang Xingmei Arrested
Political security organizations in Jiaxing City collaborated with Pinghu City police and arrested Ms. Wang Xingmei, who is in her 60s, on October 29, 2024. Her home was ransacked. She is being held in the Xucun Detention Center in Jiaxing City.
4. [Fuzhou City, Fujian Province] Ms. Lin Ru and Ms. Chen Weifang Held in Detention Center
Ms. Lin Ru and Ms. Chen Weifang were arrested and had their homes ransacked on November 2, 2024. They are being held in Fuzhou City Second Detention Center.
Additionally, three more practitioners were also targeted for their faith: Ms. Zhang Fangrong’s home was ransacked; Ms. Gao Huoying was monitored, followed and harassed; and Mr. He Pengfei was tried on November 5 by a court in Minqing County.
5. [Juancheng County, Shandong Province] Mr. Li Quanfeng Served Four Years in Prison
Mr. Li Quanfeng was arrested by officers from the Domestic Security Division in January 2020 for putting up Falun Gong posters. He was later sentenced to four years and served time in Shandong Province Prison. He has been released.
6. [Huadian City, Jilin Province] Ms. Liu Shuying’s Home Ransacked
Three plainclothes police officers from the Minghua Police Station broke into Ms. Liu Shuying’s home and confiscated Falun Gong books and some personal belongings on September 5, 2024.
7. [Shanghai] Ms. Pei Shanzhen Monitored Around the Clock
Starting around October 31, 2024, someone began to stay outside of Ms. Pei Shanzhen’s rental home in No. 257 Lane, Chengzhi Road, Sijing Town, Songjiang District, and monitored her around the clock.
8. [Beijing] Mr. Zhang Jinsong Sentenced to Prison
Mr. Zhang Jinsong from Huairou District was arrested in March 2024. The reason was that he was reported to the police for using paper bills written with information about Falun Gong. He has been sentenced to three years by the Huairou District Court. It is not clear whether he is still held in a detention center or transferred to the prison.
9. [Suihua City, Heilongjiang Province] Three Practitioners Arrested
Ms. Zhang Guorong, Ms. Zhang Kuihua, and Ms. Yan Zhiqiu from Wuzhan Town, Zhaodong City were visiting a friend’s home on September 23, 2024, when more than ten police officers suddenly broke in and arrested them. They were taken to the Suihua City Detention Center. Ms. Zhang Guorong and Ms. Zhang Kuihua have been released. Ms. Yan’s case has been turned over to the Anda City Procuratorate.
10. [Xingtai City, Hebei Province] Ms. Jin Hua Arrested
Ms. Jin Hua from Xiangdu District went to Nanchang Market to distribute Falun Gong materials on the afternoon of November 3, 2024. She was reported to the police by a stall owner. The police arrested her and took her to the police station, where they questioned her about the source of the materials. The officers then ransacked her home and confiscated a printer and other items. She was released the following day.
11. [Fuxin City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Geng Lijuan Arrested
Ms. Geng Lijuan was arrested by Dongliang Town Police Station officers on October 28, 2024 for distributing Falun Gong materials in Dongliang Town. She was placed under criminal detention.
12. [Huainan City, Anhui Province] Mr. Hu Yanhua and Ms. Lin Given Probation Terms
Ms. Hu Yanhua, 73, and Ms. Lin, 80 and first name unknown, both from Huashengyuan Residential Community, Tianjia’an District, were recorded by their community’s surveillance camera while distributing pamphlets about Falun Gong’s health benefits during the COVID-19 pandemic. It’s recently confirmed by Minghui.org that both of them have been given a two-year probation term.
