(Minghui.org) It has been 20 years since the publication of the seminal book, Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, and its impact worldwide continues to be felt. There have been many events this year to commemorate this important milestone.
Practitioners hold a parade through Toronto on November 2 to mark the 20th anniversary of the publication of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party.
The Nine Commentaries, an in-depth exposure of the history and deception of the Party, spawned a wave of withdrawals from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated youth organizations. As of late 2024, over 400,300,000 people have voluntarily renounced their party affiliation.
In tandem with the Nine Commentaries, software that allows Mainland Chinese to circumvent the CCP’s Internet firewall also opens up access to information that is not readily available in China. An unrestricted Internet has also pierced the lies of the Party, and has led to many more Chinese renouncing their Party membership. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Chinese people became increasingly frustrated with conditions inside China: China’s economy is on a downturn, social contradictions and tensions are intensifying, and corruption is getting worse. Based upon their own experiences, people have truly begun to distrust the CCP.
On the official website where people who have joined any CCP organization can declare their separation from the Party, many, when they withdraw, leave poignant messages about their reasons for making the break with the CCP.
In his withdrawal statement on November 4, 2024, Hao Ming wrote, “It has been 20 years since the Nine Commentaries were published. Over the past 20 years, especially during the three years of the pandemic, the CCP has fully demonstrated its true nature. The CCP is about to disintegrate, and I will not be buried with it. May there never be communism in the world again, and may the Creator save the Chinese people. I declare my withdrawal from the Communist Youth League and Young Pioneers.”
Young People Learn About the Nature of the CCP by Getting Around the CCP’s Internet Censorship
On November 8, Liu Fan from Nanjing wrote, “When I was in my first year of junior high school, I got my first mobile phone that could connect to the Internet. At that time, I found that many popular social platforms, such as Facebook, YouTube, etc., could not be accessed. At first I thought it was a network failure, but after eliminating the network problem, it was still the same. Later, I talked about this with our computer class teacher. From him, I first learned about the existence of the CCP’s firewall. But his explanation was that there are many negative things on the Internet, that such content is all fake, the United States has not given up its desire to destroy us, and so the Internet is censored.
“But he obviously failed to convince me. Since more than 100 countries around the world are connected to the Internet, why does China block these things? What is on the Internet? Is it all lies? This doubt lasted until I was in my second year of high school. Because I needed to check study materials, I got software to bypass the firewall from a friend. I remember very clearly that the first piece of CCP-blocked information I came across was about the June 4th Massacre. A group of students were crushed by the CCP with tanks just because they demanded democracy and freedom. Later, as I kept getting around the firewall, I learned about the various secrets the CCP tried hard to cover up, from the collusion with the Japanese army in World War II, opium planting in Nanniwan, the siege of Changchun, to its various destructive political movements after it took power, the concentration camps in Xinjiang, the truth about COVID-19, to the three-year pandemic lockdown. I understood that the history of the CCP is full of bloody murder. The Party blocks the Internet to prevent us Chinese from knowing its history of murder, because once everyone knows it, the CCP will collapse.
“But fortunately, more and more people have now understood the truth and realized the evil nature of the CCP. As a member who has been awakened, I formally declare my withdrawal from the Young Pioneers!”
In October this year, Gu Qilei from Zhejiang wrote, “I am an employee of a state-owned enterprise. After I watched the news on New Tang Dynasty TV, I had a new understanding of the CCP organizations. At first, I was a little bit unconvinced and thought that it was a rumor spread by hostile forces abroad. But later, I continued to get around the censorship to access New Tang Dynasty TV, Apollo, The Epoch Times and other media, and I saw more of the CCP’s evil deeds, in reports that seemed to be well-founded. So I began to think, and by asking the older generation in my family and verifying information from third parties, my thoughts began to change, and I gradually saw through the evil face of the CCP. Here, I declare using my real name and I call on everyone to withdraw from the CCP, the Communist Youth League, the Young Pioneers and any other organizations related to the CCP. Quit the CCP to stay safe!”
Business Owners Recognize the Nature of the CCP
Deng Xiao from China said on November 5, “I am a business owner in China. Because of my simple family background, I always believed the CCP was a righteous government that rules for the people. Until the economic crisis, I foolishly thought that I did not work hard enough and that was why I’d accumulated a lot of debt and was struggling. By chance, I came across The Epoch Times website, read articles about the CCP, and understood the nature of the Party. I struggled with this information and had a headache. After thinking it over, I decided to quit this evil organization. Now I am also helping more people understand the truth in my own way.”
In October this year, a person who used the pseudonym “Repent” wrote, “I used to be the deputy secretary of the Communist Party Committee and the secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of a factory in Yunnan Province. During the so-called reform, some CCP officials colluded with private business owners and took over the state-owned factory that was worth more than 500 million yuan at just a small fraction of the cost, resulting in hundreds of employees being laid off. The employees petitioned the relevant central and provincial departments countless times over the past decade, but the petitioning workers were arrested and detained. The procuratorates, courts, and government departments at all levels clearly knew that what happened was illegal and wrong, but the petitioners encountered officials protecting each other and shirking responsibility. So far, it has not been resolved and the offenders are still at large. Now I finally see the evil nature of the CCP. Only by overthrowing the CCP can people have a normal life and real human rights. Now I solemnly declare that I withdraw from the CCP and its youth organizations I once joined. I will no longer collude with the CCP, and resolutely leave this evil organization.”
Internet Police and Police: Deceived, Helpless, and Quit the CCP
On November 2, S970 [pseudonym] from Zhejiang wrote, “I’m an Internet police officer in a police station. I thought I could catch bad guys and protect the safety of the area like in TV dramas, but I was arranged to monitor online public opinion, delete posts and disable accounts. In my work, I saw websites such as New Tang Dynasty TV and The Epoch Times, and saw a lot of truth. It turns out that I’ve grown up in an environment of deception by the Communist bandits and I had been completely brainwashed by the evil Party culture of the CCP. I could not judge right and wrong. After three years of the pandemic, I have a deeper understanding of the evil nature of the CCP from ideological and fundamental perspectives. I have long been dissatisfied with the CCP’s series of evil deeds. After all, the victims are ordinary people, and they are all good people, but they have been harmed for no reason. I hereby formally declare my withdrawal from the Communist Party and sever all ties with the CCP from now on.”
Chen Xiangren from Guangxi, also a policeman, shared his feelings. In his withdrawal statement, he wrote, “I am a policeman. I initially joined the police force to protect people’s lives and property and maintain judicial fairness and justice. After all these years of work, I discovered that my previous ideas were fantasy. Working as a police officer is more of a lie. They only force confessions, create unjust and false cases, and act as a protective umbrella for some powerful stakeholders. If you really want to serve the people, you cannot survive in such an organization. For example, during forced relocation and house demolishing, when the owners called the police, the police didn’t show up because the local CCP officials informed the police in advance to ignore them. Some homeowners were even beaten to death by the demolition team. The police showed up only if the demolition personnel were beaten, killed or injured. Then the homeowners were investigated for crimes such as obstructing official business, provoking trouble, intentionally injuring others, and they were prosecuted. However, the homeowners’ actions of self-protection were ignored. The officials’ abuse of power, dereliction of duty, and intentional injury caused by the developers’ forced demolition were also ignored.
“Only those who have had these experiences know how evil the CCP is. Rather, my original intention of safeguarding justice and protecting the people was a fantasy. From today on, I must make a clean separation from the abominable communist bandits by quitting the CCP organizations.”
It Turns Out That We Are in the “Occupied Area”
On September 25, Li Changming, in his declaration of withdrawal from the CCP, wrote, “I’m a retired corporate head. After retirement, I traveled all over China and abroad. I saw Falun Gong practitioners in all the countries I visited, which formed a sharp contrast with the suppression in China. When I traveled to Cambodia, I visited the memorial hall of the massacre of Cambodians and Chinese people by the Khmer Rouge – the Cambodian Communist Party. One-fourth of the Cambodian people were killed. I’ve been to Xinjiang and Tibet, and I’ve also seen the CCP’s persecution of culture and belief in Xinjiang and Tibet. Identity cards are often checked and facial recognition is required, just like when the three northeastern provinces were occupied by Japan during World War II. The so-called “good citizen” certificate was required. Someone reminded me that we are now in the occupied area, and I suddenly realized it is true. Yes, the ‘Chinese Soviet Republic’ in the Yan’an period was changed to the ‘People’s Republic of China’ in 1949. We are the third branch of the East created by the Communist International.
“An ancient stone with the characters ‘Chinese Communist Party will perish’ was found in Guizhou Province. Experts have verified that it was formed naturally, which is heaven’s will! The CCP is being disintegrated by the divine, such as with the plague, extreme weather, etc. Here, I solemnly declare that the oath I made in ignorance when I raised my right hand to dedicate my all to the CCP is invalid. I am a Chinese citizen, not a descendant of Marx and Lenin, and I will not perish with the evil Party. I want to live for myself and my beloved family and friends. To witness the demise of the evil CCP, please don’t be confused by any superficial prosperity: highways, high-speed railways, and landscaping. Morality and the legal system have completely collapsed, and corruption is everywhere. I am in the system and know that the CCP has no solution to the chaos at this time. It can only desperately block information and use its propaganda machine to brainwash people. Once the firewall is breached, I firmly believe that the Party will disintegrate within six months. I hope for a peaceful disintegration, no war, chaos, just a peaceful transition. May God bless China!”
In September this year, Zhou Shuoguo also made a statement about his personal experience, “On July 1, 2024, without my knowledge, I was dragged by the company’s planning department to shoot a Party-building video. Everyone was asked to line up and pretend to join the CCP, and clenched their fists to swear allegiance to the evil Party. The video was distributed by the company. Our company was originally a private enterprise and had nothing to do with the CCP. However, in recent years, private enterprises have also been required to establish Party branches and have been required to make various false statements. The company was also forced to shoot the Party-building video. From this, it can be seen that the so-called loyalty and enthusiasm to the Party is all fake, and everyone is making false statements. I am not a Party member and have no intention of joining the Party. I deeply regret that I did not realize that superficial pretense was also very dangerous. I hereby declare that the oaths in the video are all fake. I swear to draw a clear line between the evil Party and myself and declare that I withdraw from the Communist Youth League and Young Pioneers that I joined and will be a clean Chinese.”
Quitting the Party
On September 2, a woman named Niannian wrote, “I am a young pregnant mother in my 20s. After these years of trials, I feel that the CCP’s propaganda is deceiving people, making society and the economy a mess. Many young people are unemployed and people are living in poverty. I hope this evil organization will collapse soon. I declare that I withdraw from the Young Pioneers and the Communist Youth League that I joined when I was a child, and will be a clean Chinese. I pray that the divine will bless me and my unborn baby to be safe and sound.”
On September 9, Donghua from Hebei wrote, “I, Donghua, solemnly declare that I withdraw from the Young Pioneers. I have been indoctrinated by the Party that is atheist. After watching the movie Once We Were Divine, I understand that the divine always existed, so I must be a good person. From now on, I solemnly declare that I withdraw from the Young Pioneers.”
Xiaolian, who is in the United States, announced her withdrawal from the CCP on September 15. She said, “I saw the Falun Gong parade today and felt that the United States is very free. I hate the Communist Party in China. There is no such group [in China] to express different opinions. I declare that I withdraw from the Young Pioneers I once joined.”
On September 17, Liu Ming posted a statement saying, “I am a veteran with 40 years of Party membership. The Communist Party does not serve the people and is corrupt. I declare that I withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organizations.”
On October 11, Daji from Heilongjiang wrote, “I am a retired employee of a transportation company in the Transportation Bureau. About seven or eight years ago, my supervisor asked me to intercept Falun Gong practitioners on long-distance buses and so they could not petition the government. Today, I understand the truth about Falun Gong, repent of my past behavior, and I apologize to those Falun Gong practitioners. I solemnly declare that I withdraw from the CCP’s Communist Youth League and Young Pioneers, completely break with the CCP, and choose a better future.”
