(Minghui.org) I attended Master Li’s Falun Gong seminars held in Dalian beginning on March 27, 1994. I’m infinitely grateful to Master for his mercy and I feel fortunate to be a practitioner.
I witnessed Master adjust a learner’s body on the first day of the seminar. A woman could not walk, so her husband carried her to the auditorium on his back. The staff stopped them from entering and said, “No one who is seriously ill can attend the class.” Her husband was upset, so he went backstage to find Master and explained the situation to him, saying, “We are here to learn Falun Gong and listen to Master’s teachings on cultivation.”
When Master heard this, he walked over to the woman who was sitting in a chair to adjust her body. After a few minutes, she was able to stand up and walk on her own. (After the class, she walked out of the auditorium, and she and her husband took the bus home.)
Everyone applauded when she stood up. I, who had been engaged in science and technology all my life, was shocked: Falun Gong was truly amazing! I felt I’d witnessed a miracle. I saw with my own eyes Master’s boundless power and great compassion, and I realized that Master is here to save people.
A Broken Tooth Re-attaches
I firmly believe in Master and the Fa, and I gained a lot from participating in group Fa study and doing the exercises with other practitioners. I understood why people suffer and some have hard lives. I also understood many cultivation principles. My body and mind improved greatly. I was relaxed and pleasant, and I felt happy. I began practicing Falun Gong more than 30 years ago. I’m now 88 years old, and my health is still very good. My complexion is rosy, and I walk briskly.
Soon after I began practicing, I felt something fall out of my mouth—It was a broken tooth. I didn’t think about anything at the time and just pushed it back in place. The tooth was fine.
When I was studying the Fa with the other practitioners, I told them what had happened, that my broken tooth had re-attached, and everyone was very happy. They smiled at me and said, “You are a scientist but you now practice Falun Gong and are a cultivator. Through your experience, Master is reminding us:
“Then, as a cultivator, you should make use of all feasible conditions to spread Dafa and validate Dafa as a correct and true science, rather than preaching or idealism—this is every cultivator’s obligation.’ (“Validation,” Essentials for Further Advancement)”
They laughed, and so did I. I felt Master’s infinite love for practitioners. Thank you, Master!
Master Protects Me on the Path of Validating the Fa
I retired when the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) started to persecute Dafa. One day about 12 people from my former workplace and police officers came to my house. They told me to state my stance and say that I would not practice Falun Gong. They also told me to disrespect Master. I said, “That is impossible! There’s an old Chinese saying: ‘Once a Master, always a father.’ Everyone knows that I used to have tuberculosis and bronchiectasis and that I vomited blood, but now my health is great. Master saved me. I can’t be ungrateful!”
I also told them, “Wasn’t the Cultural Revolution terrible? And what came of it? Wasn’t the president Liu Shaoqi also rehabilitated! The persecution of Falun Gong is also just a campaign, and Falun Gong’s reputation will have to be restored some day!” They were speechless. When they realized couldn’t convince me, they left and never returned.
I know that it was Master who blessed and strengthened me and gave me courage. I wasn’t frightened at all.
Master Resolved My Tribulation
After I delivered some truth clarifying materials and was about to leave the building, I sprained my ankle. It was so painful that I couldn’t walk. I didn’t think about anything, just wrenched my foot with my hands, put it down, and calmed down. Immediately, the heart-piercing pain was gone, it didn’t hurt at all, and I walked out of the door without a problem. I knew that it was Master’s blessing that helped me resolve this difficulty, and I returned home just fine.
During these years of Fa-rectification cultivation practice, my wife and I have distributed truth-clarifying materials to save people. We’ve traveled to various communities, especially high-end communities, and sometimes encountered dangerous situations. But under Master’s protection all the difficulties turned into blessings.
We have been cultivating for more than 30 years. The only way we have been able to get this day is because we firmly believe in Dafa and are able to move forward under the immeasurable grace of compassionate Master. There are still many things that I haven’t done well, but I will work hard to do better.
