(Minghui.org) Practitioners held a parade in Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture, on November 2, 2024, to protest the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) 25-year long persecution in China and support the 430 million Chinese citizens who have renounced their membership in CCP organizations.

A parade was held on November 2 in Fukuoka City to raise awareness of the 25-year long persecution in China.

The weather forecast predicted heavy rain that day, so bullet trains heading to Kyushu were temporarily stopped. However, the weather warning was removed an hour before the parade started. The event was held as scheduled and it did not rain during the parade. People asked what this was about and read the messages on banners. Many people encouraged the practitioners to keep up their efforts.

“We Cannot Allow This Persecution to Take Place”

Gao Muxin and Tian Shizhi had a good impression of Falun Gong after practitioners told them that the practice is based on the principles of “Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance” and the parade was held to call for an end to the persecution in China. They said, “The atmosphere of the parade is great.” They also took fliers.

Mr. Huang from Taiwan praised the practitioners and said, “Having the courage to express one’s conviction through such peaceful means is wonderful.”

Sato Mako, 83, saw the parade when she stepped out of a shopping mall. She agreed with the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance and expressed her support for Falun Gong practitioners. She thought it was important to hold such activities, and said, “We cannot allow this persecution to take place.”

Ms. Sato Mako praised the practitioners’ efforts to tell people about the persecution.

Mr. Furukawa told practitioners that he had heard about Falun Gong previously and signed the petition to call for an end to the persecution at a similar event in the Hakata region. He said, “Organ harvesting is too brutal.” He also hopes Jiang Zemin, who is responsible for the persecution, will be placed on trial even though he is dead.

Mr. Furukawa encouraged the practitioners.

It was the first time Mr. Giaanni Alhevri from Italy had heard of Falun Gong. After reading the flier and understanding why the parade was held, he said, “Holding such a parade in the face of persecution is a great idea.”

Mr. Giaanni Alhevri expressed his support for Falun Gong.

“Please Continue to Speak Out for Innocent Falun Gong Practitioners”

Mr. Tanaka, a tourist from Tottori Prefecture, said after learning of the ongoing persecution in China, “Please continue to speak out for innocent Falun Gong practitioners!”

Mr. Tanaka from Tottori Prefecture encouraged practitioners to continue raising awareness of the persecution in China.

Mr. Elliet from Australia said that he hopes to do something to help Falun Gong practitioners protest against in China after hearing about the atrocities.

Mr. Falah Mashaqbq from Jordan expressed an interest in learning Falun Gong. He took a flier and said he would read it carefully when he returns home.

Mr. Takamatsu shouted: “I oppose organ harvesting!” when he learned of the brutal crimes.

Mr. Takamatsu said that he cannot tolerate the brutal, inhuman act of organ harvesting.

Calling for the Immediate Release of Sister Arrested in China for Possessing Falun Gong Materials

On October 16, 2024, Zhang Xiajia, a Falun Gong practitioner in Shantou City, Guangdong Province, was arrested at customs for having a USB drive containing Falun Gong materials when she arrived in Hong Kong by train. She does not practice Falun Gong, yet she was taken to the Jinpu police station in Shantou City, Chaoyang district. She was subsequently sent to the Tuopu Detention Center in Shantou City, where she has been illegally detained till today.

Her younger sister Zhang Liling, who lives in Japan, called on international society to help rescue her sister, as well as tens of thousands of Falun Gong practitioners who are detained for their faith.

Since the persecution began in July 1999, Zhang Liling’s family has been harassed, coerced, and their house was repeatedly ransacked many times by the local 610 Office in Shantou City for refusing to give up their faith. The older sister Zhang Xiaoling spent two years in labor camp and three years in prison. The younger sister Zhang Yueqi was sent to labor camp for one year when she was only 14. Her mother Qiu Xiuping and Zhang Liling were arrested and detained multiple times. The entire family suffered tremendous hardship mentally, physically and financially over the years.
