(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 8 cities or counties in 6 provinces, where at least 8 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
1. [Taichang City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Qin Yanqiu Tried
2. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Yuxia Imprisoned

4. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhang Cuiqin Detained
5. [Siping City, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Chunying Arrested
6. [Fujin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Qi Liping Released on Bail
7. [Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Ma Xiuqin Arrested
8. [Junan County, Shandong Province] Ms. Pang Lizhi Detained for 12 Days
1. [Taichang City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Qin Yanqiu Tried
Ms. Qin Yanqiu was arrested at home on May 20, 2024, by captain Li Jia and two officers of the Domestic Security Division after someone reported her for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. She was recently tried in the Zhangjiagang Court. Her family was not allowed to attend.
2. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Yuxia Admitted to Prison
Ms. Wang Yuxia of Jinzhu Township in the Longtan District was summoned by Tuchengzi Police Station officers at 4 p.m. on November 20, 2024. She was admitted to the Jilin Province Women’s Prison the next day. It’s not clear when she was sentenced.
3. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Mr. Zhi Zhanmin Faces Trial
Mr. Zhi Zhanmin’s trial was scheduled for December 10, 2024, in the Baoding City Detention Center.
4. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhang Cuiqin Detained
Ms. Zhang Cuiqin was arrested at home by Fenjing Police Station officers on November 27, 2024. She is being held in the Weizigou Detention Center.
5. [Siping City, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Chunying Arrested
Ms. Wang Chunying was arrested at home around October 1, 2023. The police have refused to tell her family where she is detained.
6. [Fujin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Qi Liping Released on Bail
Ms. Qi Liping was arrested by Xiangyang Police Station officers on November 25, 2024, after someone reported her for distributing desktop calendars with information about Falun Gong. The officers seized her Falun Gong books. She was taken to the Fujin City Police Department for interrogation and released on bail the same day.
7. [Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Ma Xiuqin Arrested
Ms. Ma Xiuqin of the Hantai District was arrested by Qili Police Station officers on the morning of December 2, 2024, after she was reported for distributing Falun Gong materials. She was released around 8 p.m.
8. [Junan County, Shandong Province] Ms. Pang Lizhi Detained for 12 Days
Ms. Pang Lizhi, 68, of Dabunan Village talked to people about the persecution of Falun Gong on her way home from the county seat on October 25, 2024, and was reported. Chengxi Police Station officers, who were waiting for her when she got home, took her to the detention center. They then raided her home and confiscated a cell phone worth several thousand yuan, Falun Gong books, audio players, and other items.
The police later took Ms. Pang to the Junan County Chinese Medicine Hospital for a physical exam. Even though her systolic blood pressure was very high (180 mmHg), the police still held her at the Junan County Detention Center for 12 days. She was ordered to sign and fingerprint some paperwork before being released, which she refused to do.
