1. [Zunhua City, Hebei Province] Ms. Yang Shuqin and Ms. Yang Shuwen Arrested
2. [Pengzhou City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Chen Gaoxiu and Ms. Yin Xiaolan Harassed
3. [Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province] Five Practitioners Facing Trial
4. [Guiyang City, Guizhou Province] Ms. Wu Xingzhi Sentenced to One Year in Prison
5. [Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province] Ms. Fu Hong Arrested and Detained
6. [Gongyi City, Henan Province] Mr. Zhang Yuanheng Arrested
7. [Yueyang City, Hunan Province] Three Practitioners Arrested
1. [Zunhua City, Hebei Province] Ms. Yang Shuqin and Ms. Yang Shuwen Arrested
Ms. Yang Shuqin, from Kongzhuangzi Village of Dongxinzhuangzi Town, and Ms. Yang Shuwen, from Xiliangzihe Village, were arrested when talking to people about Falun Gong in the Dongxinzhuangzi Town Market on December 17, 2024. Ms. Yang Shuqin was released in the afternoon. Ms. Yang Shuwen’s whereabouts are unknown.
2. [Pengzhou City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Chen Gaoxiu and Ms. Yin Xiaolan Harassed
Ms. Chen Gaoxiu and Ms. Yin Xiaolan, both from Baoshi Village of Mengyang Town, were harassed by village officials on December 2, 2024. They took photos of the practitioners without their consent.
3. [Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province] Five Practitioners Facing Trial
Five practitioners were scheduled to stand trial in the Shuangta District Court for the third time on the morning of December 23, 2024. The practioners include Ms. Hu Xiuli, Mr. He Hongjun, Mr. Lan Qingzhong, Ms. Fu Wenhui, and Mr. Tian Pengfei.
4. [Guiyang City, Guizhou Province] Ms. Wu Xingzhi Sentenced to One Year in Prison
Ms. Wu Xingzhi, 88, was arrested by officers from the Hetang Police Station in Yunyan District in August 2023. She was released on bail after being detained 32 days in the Sanjiang Detention Center.
The elderly Ms. Wu was sentenced to one year in prison by the Nanming District Court in late October 2024.
5. [Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province] Ms. Fu Hong Arrested and Detained
Ms. Fu Hong was searched by railway officers in Qinhuangdao Railway Station on November 20, 2024, and was found to be carrying a Falun Gong book and an e-book. Officers from the Yanshan Street Police Station took her and ransacked her home. She was later taken to the Xigang Road Police Station.
Her case was submitted to the Haigang District Procuratorate by Zhao Yibo, deputy of Xigang Road Police Station. She was placed under official arrest on December 5, 2024, and is currently being detained in the Qinhuangdao City Detention Center.
6. [Gongyi City, Henan Province] Mr. Zhang Yuanheng Arrested
Mr. Zhang Yuanheng was arrested when talking to people about Falun Gong in a park in July 2024.
7. [Yueyang City, Hunan Province] Three Practitioners Arrested
Ms. Liu Bilian, 85, Ms. Liu Chunhui, 80, and Ms. Zhou Ming, 86, were reported to police for distributing calendars with information about Falun Gong in Junshan District, and arrested on the morning of December 12, 2024. They were interrogated in the police station and released in the afternoon.
