(Minghui.org) I worked at a hospital before my retirement. One day in 2012, I had just clarified the truth to the wife of a patient from a mountainous area who was diagnosed with late stage cirrhosis. Not long after that, I ran into her again outside the hospital’s NMR laboratory. She was with her husband as they waited for his NMR when she called me over in a friendly manner and introduced me to her husband, Mr. Zheng.
Mr. Zheng was lying on a long bench, expressionless. He could not speak and many relatives were crowding around him. I bent down to talk to him and said, “Reciting ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good’ with sincerity and respect will definitely be beneficial for you.” His wife, who was by his side, told me that he had long ago joined the Young Pioneers, a children’s organization affiliated with the Chinese Communist Party. I then told Mr. Zheng, “If you quit the Young Pioneers, the divine will protect you.” He nodded feebly, indicating that he accepted my offer. I then told his relatives, “Please help him recite the two phrases ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good’ together. It will be beneficial for you, too.” After that, his wife and relatives kept thanking me. As I was very busy working my shift at that time, I left after this simple exchange.
Less than a week after his hospitalization, Mr. Zheng’s wife told me they wanted to have him discharged because they could not afford the medical fees. She said that returning to the local county hospital could save them quite a lot of money. His wife asked me for my number, saying that I was a good person and she would seek my help when her child came to get reimbursement from the rural cooperative health insurance (at that time, the reimbursement was only done after the patient had paid the hospital bill in full, so many administrative procedures had to be completed). I agreed to her request and recorded the patient’s full name. Without much more being said, this matter took place very naturally.
About a month later, I received a phone call. The man on the phone sounded really excited. He said, “I am Mr. Zheng, who was lying on the bench outside your hospital’s NMR laboratory, who could not speak, and got discharged from the hospital early because I had no money. I have recovered! Thank you! The two phrases that you told me to say really work! I went back to be hospitalized in the local hospital, but I recovered.” I really could not believe that this loud and strong voice actually came from that pale-faced and thin, seemingly incurable patient who had been diagnosed with serious cirrhosis.
Not long after that, Mr. Zheng’s brother-in-law, Mr. Wang, came to the hospital very early to wait for me. He had gifts with him. He said that he was there with two tasks. One was to thank me on behalf of Mr. Zheng, for saving his life. I said that Master Li, the founder of Falun Dafa, had saved him, so if he wanted to thank someone he could thank Master. He said, “Thank you, Master. Master is so great! You saw the state of my brother-in-law that day. He had not been able to eat anything for many days and everyone felt that he could not be treated anymore. After you left, our whole family helped him recite the two phrases. He was able to eat the next morning. He drank a bag of milk and ate a few buns. His jaundice level suddenly dropped a lot. We had prepared for his funeral, but just by reciting these two phrases, the problem was resolved. He really recovered! This is so amazing!”
There was another issue that he sought my help with. He wanted to register in the local election for village chief. At that time, I was very curious and told him that I could not help him with that, as I did not know anybody. He said that I could help him by telling him the original words that I had spoken to Mr. Zheng without missing any bit of it. I told him the truth about Dafa in detail and helped him quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its youth organizations. He was very happy.
One night the following year, Mr. Wang’s brother-in-law got into a serious car accident and his life was on the line as the paramedics tried to save him. Mr. Wang called me in a hurry and asked me to help save his brother-in-law. I comforted him and told him not to become anxious. I asked him if he still remembered the two auspicious phrases. He said he did. I said, “I am still going to tell you to recite them sincerely. Everyone in your family should recite them.” He calmed down a lot and said, “I believe that Master will save my brother-in-law.” Over the following few days, he updated me about the state of his brother-in-law and his family’s steadfast belief, until his brother-in-law was out of danger. Every time he called, I encouraged him compassionately, and he later told me that his brother-in-law was recovering really well. He had an artificial limb installed and had not suffered any sequela. He thanked Master for saving his relative again.
One morning around 2017, Mr. Wang called me again. He said that he often shared the amazing stories of how he benefited from Dafa. He said that over these few years, his family has kept receiving blessings, especially his son, who had managed to enter the best high school in the whole province. Although his son grew up in a village, his academic results came in second in the whole province. Once again, he thanked Dafa and also thanked me for telling him such a wonderful message. He said, “I deeply believe in Dafa. All these years, I have been doing things based on the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. However, I am still a far cry from you all [Dafa practitioners]. I will continue to do better.” He said that for years now, everything has gone very well for his whole family and they were leading comfortable and happy lives.
He also said that he had called that day because he had a query. A few days before, he’d received a truth-clarification call asking him to quit the CCP and its youth organizations, and the caller gave him a nickname. Recently, he had met with some unhappy events, so he was wondering if that had something to do with the fake name. I first told him that he just needs to quit once and does not need to quit again in the future. I also told him that fake names do not matter, as the name is just a representation of one’s will; the divine looks at people’s hearts. I told him the “Story of a Blind Child Who Built a Bridge.” I said, “As you believed that Dafa is good and have been spreading the wonderful message of Dafa to sentient beings, Heaven transformed those calamities that you were destined to meet with into these small unhappy events. These small unhappy events may seem like bad happenings on the surface, but they are actually things to be happy about. From the perspective of a cultivator, they are helping you get rid of your karma so that you will have better prospects in the future.” Hearing that, Mr. Wang was relieved and said, “In that case, I can stop worrying. In the future, if there is any more good news (referring to the truth about Dafa), do not forget to inform me.”
After writing this down, I feel very gratified. Thank you, Master, for your benevolent salvation. Master is great and Dafa is supernormal. Fellow Dafa disciples, we are so honored to be able to spread the truth to sentient beings. The sentient beings who are able to hear the wonderful message and understand the truth are so fortunate too.

I hope that everyone in the world can remember that reciting “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” can really save your life. People who understand the truth and spread the great message will be even more blessed and will also enjoy vast benefits.
I hope that more people with predestined relationships can have the opportunity to understand the truth about Dafa and that more sentient beings can benefit from the universal Dafa.
