(Minghui.org) I am now 74. I had very little education, and before 1999 my life was miserable. After I learned Falun Dafa, an ancient Chinese spiritual practice of mind and body, my life changed.
Could Anyone Save Me?
After I got married, my mother-in-law, brother-in-law and my husband treated me poorly.
When my father-in-law worked at the local police station, he accused an old man of stealing his soybeans and beat him. The old man committed suicide that night.
My husband often insulted and beat me whenever he wanted to. Once when he was watering the field, the hose leaked and I told him how to fix it. He got angry and started to whip me like a horse. I tried to run away but he chased after me. He grabbed a pot he found and beat be with it, breaking two of my ribs. He did not even take me to the hospital.
Another time when he heard I’d complained about him, he punched me in my right eye. He never took care of our two children. Even worse, he took the 10,000 yuan I’d saved for our daughter’s college tuition.
My life was so miserable. I often imagined that someone could save me from everything.
Master Saved Me
My life changed in 1999. I saw a group of people doing exercises. I stopped and watched for a while and felt a strong desire to learn what they were doing. The village Party secretary told me that it was Falun Gong and that she too was practicing it. She told me about Zhuan Falun, the main book of the teachings. Once I started to read it, I couldn't stop.
I did the exercises with the group in the mornings and read the book every day. A few days later, Master [Master Li, the founder of the practice] opened my celestial eye. When I meditated and my leg hurt, I saw a black substance, karma, fall off me. It disappeared when I put my legs down. I saw beautiful scenes in other dimensions: a golden dragon swimming in a river. golden fruit hanging on trees, fairies walking on rainbows, and heavenly soldiers in armor wearing red tasseled hats.
I lived by Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance in my daily life. When customers left their cell phones or valuable personal belongings in my store, I always waited for the owner to come back and claim them. If they did not, I would take them to the police station. Sometimes the customers overpaid, and I would donate the extra money to the 88-year-old woman in my village.
Although my husband did not treat me any better, I no longer hated him. One day I couldn’t help but complain about him to Master, and I heard Master say, “What are you complaining about? He was your white horse in your previous life and was killed in the war.” I realized that all reincarnations have their cause and effect.
Amazing Experiences
I was born with uneven shoulders, one side higher than the other, and I also had a hunchback. One night in June 2009, I fell asleep while watching the video of Master Teaching the Fa to Australian Practitioners. I dreamed Master came to me and said, “Follow me. I will straighten your back.” My soul left my body and went into a large room with Master. The room looked like the one in the video I was watching. There were rows of tables and I stood between the third and fourth rows. Master stood in front of the podium with a large beast beside him. Master instructed the beast to treat me. When I woke up, I was taller because my back was straight and my shoulders were even.
Many amazing things have happened to me. Once I started to bleed profusely from my vagina. I felt all the blood was flowing out of my body. That night, I saw Master treating me, and the next day I stopped bleeding and I felt disease free.
Another day I fell asleep while reading Zhuan Falun. Suddenly I heard a voice say, “You’ve flattened the book.” I woke up and saw the book was under me. I carefully put the book away.
Once I had diarrhea, and my stomach hurt so much that I would wake up in pain as soon as I fell asleep. I knew it was a symptom of eliminating karma, but I couldn’t bear it and asked Master to help me. Then I saw a fairy in a yellow robe come. But I knew it wasn’t Master, so I refused his help. Soon another fairy wearing an emperor’s clothes came. I told him that I only wanted Master Li to save me. He left. Then a tall old Taoist priest came. At that time, I saw myself as a teenage Taoist priest, wearing the same clothing as the old one. I realized that I had found Master Li, and amazingly, my stomach stopped hurting.
I gushed about my experience to two fellow practitioners. Later, my stomach started to hurt again. I realized that I shouldn’t show off and said to Master that I was wrong, that I would rectify myself. My stomach stopped hurting right away.
The Power of the Auspicious Phrases
Several times I have witnessed the power of the auspicious phrases “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.”
In December 2009, I was on a bus from to Shenyang City. It was cloudy and the road was bumpy. Then I saw a ghost get on the bus, and the bus was about to tip over. I recited, “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” The ghost disappeared instantly and the bus righted itself.
On July 22, 2022, when I was in my store, a customer told me that her relatives, a young couple from Beijing, had come to the city’s hospital to seek treatment for the wife’s leukemia. The wife was in her 40s. They suspected that her disease was caused by the covid vaccine booster shot. I told my customer, “Maybe they can try to recite the auspicious phrases. That might have a miraculous effect on the disease itself.” Wide-eyed, she said, “Really?” I said, “It could work if you really believe it.” Without hesitating, she messaged the auspicious phrases to the couple.
About a month later, at 3 a.m. on August 20, I dreamed that Master told me that the women with leukemia had recovered. Later my customer came all the way to thank me in person. She told me that her relative recovered after reciting the auspicious phrase, “It is really amazing! They are very appreciative of you.” I said, “It is Master Li who saved her.”
