(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 10 cities or counties in 8 provinces, where at least 15 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Cao County, Shandong Province] Mr. Cheng Qianyue Sentenced to Prison
Mr. Cheng Qianyue from Longhuadian Village of Qinghe Town was sentenced to eighteen months in prison by the Cao County Court for posting information about Falun Gong facts on the social media app TikTok. He was taken to Jinan Prison on January 17, 2024.
2. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Yin Minghua Arrested and Detained
Ms. Yin Minghua was arrested by officers including Ding Zhidao from the Haduihou Coast Police Station on the evening of January 21, 2024. Her Falun Gong books were confiscated. Ms. Yin was detained for nearly two months.
3. [Huludao City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhu Jiyu Arrested and Detained
Ms. Zhu Jiyu from Jianchang County, in her 50s, was arrested at her rented bungalow around 3 p.m. on March 13, 2024. Many Falun Gong books and truth clarifying materials were confiscated. Ms. Zhu was sent to the Huludao City Detention Center.
4. [Suining City, Sichuan Province] Three Practitioners Face Trial
Ms. Deng Xiugui, 74, Ms. Du Yingfen, 70, and Ms. Yang Guihua, 67, will be tried in the Chuanshan District Court at 2:30 p.m. on March 18, 2024.
5. [Miluo City, Hunan Province] Three Practitioners Arrested and Detained
Three practitioners including Ms. Dai Qingping, 62, Ms. Zheng Qiuliang, 69, and Ms. Peng Guixian, 67, were reported to police for talking to three middle school students in West Lake Park. They were arrested at their homes on January 4, 2024, and were taken to the detention center. Ms. Dai was detained for 15 days; Ms. Zheng was detained for 7 days, and Ms. Peng was detained for 7 days.
6. [Mian County, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Hou Xiuying and Ms. Qian Ziping Arrested and Detained
Ms. Hou Xiuying was arrested at home by officers from the Chengdong Police Station on March 1, 2024. Her home was ransacked. Ms. Hou was held for 15 days in the Mian County Detention Center.
Ms. Qian Ziping was arrested by officers including Yue Xiaodong, deputy of the Dingjun Police Station, when she was buying apples at Jiuye Bridge on March 1, 2024. The police ransacked her home and confiscated her Falun Gong books and truth-clarifying materials. Ms. Qian was detained for 10 days.
7. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Mr. Li Shigang Arrested
Mr. Li Shigang was arrested at a practitioner’s home in Wanchang Town of Yongji County on March 13, 2024. The computer and several USB drives which were in his car were confiscated.
8. [Hefei City, Anhui Province] Ms. Sun Fangyun Arrested
Ms. Sun Fangyun was arrested on March 5, 2024.
9. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Ren Zhanhui Arrested and Detained
Ms. Ren Zhanhui was reported to police for talking about Falun Gong to a man and was arrested by officers from the Shangcheng Police Station in Xinhua District on March 11, 2024. Her home was ransacked. Ms. Ren was placed under 14-day detention.
10. [Xi’an City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Wan Xiaoyan Arrested
Ms. Wan Xiaoyan from Huyi District was arrested around March 8, 2024.
