(Minghui.org) I wept every time I read Master’s recent articles: “How Humankind Came To Be” and “Why Save Sentient Beings.” After I read them, I had a better understanding of the Fa (teachings) when I read Zhuan Falun and other articles. I’m more appreciative of Master’s salvation and have a deeper understanding of how difficult it is to save people.
I’d like to tell you about some of my recent cultivation experiences.
Denying the Persecution with Righteous Thoughts
In February 2023 I clarified the truth to two farmers, but I was photographed and reported. The police found me within five minutes, confiscated my electric motorcycle and put me in the police car. I reminded myself that these policemen were also Master’s family members. I wanted to clarify the truth to them and save them, so that they wouldn’t continue persecuting Falun Dafa and practitioners and be destroyed.
Their head was a man in his forties whose family name was Zhao. I told him that Falun Dafa is practiced around the world, and that practitioners are guided by the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. I told him that we cultivate our hearts and try to be good people. He refused to listen. He said that when he was in college, one of his classmates practiced Falun Dafa. The others didn’t understand him, or why he practiced. I told him not to persecute Falun Dafa, because it’s bad to persecute good people. Although he didn’t listen, I persuaded two Chinese Communist Party (CCP) members and one Communist Youth League member to quit.
They illegally searched my home and interrogated me. I knew that the evil took advantage of my loopholes and attachments, so I looked inward, sent forth righteous thoughts, recited the Fa, and denied the persecution. I reminded myself that I only follow Master, and I don’t want any other arrangements. As soon as I recited the Fa, my thoughts cleared up, and what I said was peaceful and compassionate. I told them the truth about Falun Dafa (also known as Falun Gong).
They wanted to take me to a detention center, and so they sent me to a hospital for a physical examination. During the examination I developed serious symptoms of high blood pressure and heart disease, and I collapsed. Just like that, under Master’s protection, I was released.
Eliminating Attachments
A few days after I returned home, the police came to my house again to harass me. My life was disrupted, and I became fearful. I was worried that I was followed. I was afraid of being heard when I did the exercises. I felt that something was interfering with my Fa-study. I begged Master countless times to help me. One day, my sister brought me food and clothing. One bag had a sentence written on it, “Someone will always protect you.” A practitioner sent a note, “Meditate and practice, don’t be afraid.” I was grateful to Master beyond words, and I wept.
One practitioner invited me to live with her for a while. We read the Fa, sent righteous thoughts to negate the persecution, and I eliminated my fear. Looking inward, I found my attachments to zealotry, selfishness, and showing off. I also looked down on other practitioners and complained that they did not clarify the truth. These were all manifestations of the old forces’ thinking and the old universe. The old forces just want to change others, they don’t want to change themselves. I resolutely denied these thoughts. After I realized this, I’ve been alert if I start to complain about practitioners. I told myself, “These are not my thoughts; the good side of a practitioner has become a divine being, so I should not focus on the bad side.”
I couldn’t continue living at the practitioner’s place, so I looked for a rental. My motorcycle was confiscated, so I bought a second-hand one. After looking for more than 20 days, I couldn’t find a suitable apartment. I clarified the truth while I looked, and each day I persuaded about 10 people to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. While I was riding down the road one day I suddenly burst into tears, “Isn’t there any place for me to live in these tall buildings?” I stopped and wept. An old man came over and asked, “Have you lost something?” I shook my head. I wiped my tears and said, “Have you heard of Falun Dafa?” He smiled and said, “Falun Dafa is good.” I asked if he quit the Party. He said he hadn’t, so I helped him quit.
When I got home that night, a friend told me that she found an apartment for me in a new building. Master already arranged everything and I shouldn’t have worried.
Clarifying the Truth and Saving Sentient Beings
With a stable place to live, my righteous thoughts became stronger. I devoted myself to clarifying the truth. I met many people who understood the truth. When I told a young man in a seafood market about Falun Dafa, he said that he was very grateful to practitioners for distributing informational materials so that he could learn about China’s history and the true nature of the CCP. He understood the history of the Communist Party’s murderous reign. He said, “I’m grateful to Falun Dafa practitioners, who told me so many truths. Please greet Master Li on my behalf and wish him good health.”
One day I met an older lady who was sitting in the sun. I greeted her and said, “You look comfortable.” She said, “My back hurts.” I said, “Just sincerely recite, Falun Dafa is good; Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good, and you’ll be fine. Let me give you a Falun Dafa symbol to keep you safe.” She stood up, put her hands together and said, “Falun Dafa disciples have arrived.” She took the amulet and said happily, “I’ve read Zhuan Falun. It is so well written. When Falun Dafa’s name is restored, I will also practice. Greet Master Li Hongzhi on my behalf. I’m hoping that he will return to China to teach the Fa. Chinese people are all waiting; this evil Party is completely bad.”
As soon as I told one man about Falun Dafa, he smiled happily and took out his phone and asked me to have a look. He showed me a photo of a room filled with large cardboard boxes. One was full of DVDs, such as Shen Yun, the CCP-staged Tiananmen self-immolation, and other videos made by practitioners. Another was full of truth-clarification calendars. The third box was full of pamphlets and booklets, and the fourth was full of Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party.
I was moved and said, “This is impressive. Can you give me the box with Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party? I’ll use it to save people.” He said, “No, this is my treasure. I often watch the DVD at night. When I read Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, I curse the Communist Party. It is so bad! When Falun Dafa’s reputation is restored, I can testify with these precious materials.”
I talked to another man about the CCP’s persecution of Falun Dafa. I said I was shocked with electric batons in a labor camp, my lips were scorched, I was handcuffed, and I was deprived of sleep. With tears in his eyes, he said, “I admire you for upholding the truth. The principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance are so good. I also want to practice, can you teach me? I really want to learn.” I showed him the fifth set of exercises and gave him a leaflet with instructions for how to break through the Internet censorship to access the Minghui website. I told him, “On Minghui.org, the Dafa books and the practice music are free to download.”
Not everyone is receptive to the truth. I asked two old men to remember that Falun Dafa is good. One of them angrily hit at my right arm. He hit me more than twelve times. When he punched me again. I remembered Master’s teaching,
“As cultivators, you won’t fight back when you’re beaten or sworn at.” (Lecture Ninte, Zhuan Falun)
I didn’t move. When he was done, I told him with a smile, “Please remember, Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good. It is true that believing in Dafa can save your life.” With that, I left.
After I retired, I didn’t look for a job. I devoted myself to telling the truth and saving people. I went out every day, including the New Year. I helped more than 1,000 people each month and in total more than 100,000 people quit the CCP, from 2012 to 2023.
I will conscientiously study the Fa, assimilate to the Fa, have more righteous thoughts when I talk to people, and save more people.
