(Minghui.org) I went to Guangdong Province on a business trip shortly after the New Year of 2021, to decorate the art exhibition hall of a large ceramic tile export company.
Mid-May was the time when the project was completed, and we had already worked overtime until midnight on several nights. Everyone was exhausted.
My supervisor told me after dinner, “Twelve 1.8-meter ceramic tiles will be delivered soon. You can use the industrial power table saw to cut them to 1.2 meter size. You can go home after you finish the job.”
When I returned to the worksite, I discovered that the industrial power table saw had been removed by the ceramic tile manufacturer. I immediately called my supervisor and informed him. He told me to use an ordinary cutting machine to do the work.
I explained, “That would be too difficult, I have no electricity or lights, and even if I used the cutting machine, it tends to crack the ceramic tile.”
“You figure it out! I would not need you if everything was so easy.” He hung up the phone in anger.
I couldn’t believe that I was stuck in that situation, and his attitude upset me. I also realized that nothing happens by accident. I might as well give it a try.
At this time, the designer, Xiaomei who was responsible for installing the ceramic tiles, and Yang who was responsible for transporting the ceramic tiles both arrived. Xiaomei told me that she would depend on me to cut the tile, and her job was to install them before midnight. Yang also urged me to do it quickly so he could go home soon.
“Give me a moment, the power saw was taken away, I can only cut them by hand. I need to find the electric source and tools,” I replied.
By then the tiles had been delivered to the site, I had connected the power supply, found a cutting machine, and also grabbed a glass cutter.
Xiaomei told me, “All twelve tiles have different designs and there are no extras! Please ensure not to crack any. They do not have the size we want and we have to cut them ourselves to the size we need.”
“This is not easy! If I use a cutting machine, I’d have to polish the edges with an angle grinder, and it would take a long time.”
I hesitated for a while. If I used the cutting machine, I would have to polish the edge. It would be time-consuming and laborious, and I would not be able to finish before midnight. It might be faster if I used the glass cutter, but it was likely that I’d break the tiles and bring about more problems.
I remembered Master’s poem:
“Disciples’ righteous thoughts are strongMaster has the power to turn the tide”(“Master-Disciple Grace,” Hong Yin II)
I told the two, “I am a Falun Dafa practitioner. It is a difficult task to accomplish and I will ask my Master to help me. You two can also help me by reciting in your hearts, ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.’”
I gripped the glass cutter with both hands and exerted all my strength. The worksite was silent, with only the sound of the cutter wheel etching through the glaze. At this time, Xiaomei came to help. She helped me step on one end of the tile. I silently recited “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” while pressing down on the tile. Then with a loud sound, “bang” the tile separated.
I was startled by the noise, Xiaomei and Yang both screamed, and then in unison, they shouted “Falun Dafa is good!”
Yang exclaimed, “You are awesome! This is the first time I have seen this. You are the king of our ceramic tile industry in Guangzhou!”
“Don’t say that, it is my Master who helped me,” I said.
Soon the news spread throughout the exhibition hall on all three floors, and everyone knew what a great job the Falun Dafa practitioner did! Shortly after that, I finished the twelve tiles without any problem. I also helped Xiaomei and Yang quit the CCP and related organizations.
When I came back during the exhibit time. Xiaomei greeted me and said, “Thank you, Falun Dafa is good!”
