(Minghui.org) After completing its Australia tour, Shen Yun New York Company flew to Taiwan to launch its six-city, 28-show tour. Prior to Shen Yun’s arrival, the company received welcome remarks from 100 Taiwanese government officials.

Shen Yun New York Company arrived at the Taoyuan International Airport on March 24 to kick off the company’s 2024 Taiwan tour, which begins with Kaohsiung on March 26.

“We don’t only dance well. While being a good dancer, [we also] have to be a better person,” said principal dancer Tiffany Lin, a native of Taiwan.

“Dance, as a vocabulary for both the East and West, has no limitations that language has. So I think no matter where we go, Shen Yun is very well received by audiences,” said principal dancer Piotr Huang.

“I’m very excited and also look forward to it. I hope the audiences in Taiwan get a chance to relax while enjoying the show and also have a fruitful experience,” said principal dancer Anna Huang, a native of Taiwan.

Principal dancer Henry Hung, also a Taiwanese native, shared that although performing can be very tiresome, whenever he sees audiences’ warm applause and reviews, he feels very touched and also greatly encouraged to continue to do better. 

100 Government Officials Welcome Shen Yun 

Prior to Shen Yun’s arrival in Taiwan, 100 officials from both central and local governments extended welcome and congratulatory remarks to the performing arts company.
