(Minghui.org) Practitioners in my area have recently experienced many disagreements with each other. Each one of us has insisted on our own opinion, blamed others, and totally forgotten Master’s teachings about looking within. Even police officers from the Domestic Security Division in a neighboring county heard about our disagreements. One of them told a fellow practitioner in the neighboring county, “Your fellow practitioners in that [referring to our] county are in chaos.”

I was initially involved in some disagreements too, thinking that I was right and that what I said was for the benefit of others. I awakened gradually with Master’s guidance, and saw how the old forces had taken advantage of our attachments to block us from saving sentient beings. I stopped arguing and persisted in clarifying the facts about Falun Dafa to people every day. This helped me gradually restore my original cultivation state.

However, some fellow practitioners have failed to see how their own attachments have damaged our ability to save sentient beings. Some are so obsessed with others’ mistakes that they no longer treat saving sentient beings as their top priority. I wasn’t sure if I should talk with them, so I begged Master for enlightenment.

Master must have seen that I was worried about our whole group of practitioners. On the afternoon of the same day, I ran into the person I wanted to talk to. I used to treat her as the “trouble maker.” Without having an appointment, we walked to the door of a fellow practitioner’s home. Both of us realized that Master must have made the arrangement for us to meet at the fellow practitioner’s home.

Instead of insisting on our own opinions, we held an earnest conversation. I apologized to her and kindly pointed out where she could improve. She accepted my apology, admitted that she had failed Master’s expectation, and said she would do better. We talked for a couple of hours. Both of us said that we would like to let go of the past and put saving sentient beings as our priority.

I hope fellow practitioners in other places will avoid our mistake. Time is running out for us to save sentient beings. We should let go of others’ mistakes, look within, and kindly help each other. There is no need to defeat others to prove we are right. I hope everyone will ponder upon what role our behaviors have played in saving sentient beings.
