(Minghui.org) The Department of Culture of the Administration of Ryazan invited Russian Falun Dafa practitioners to participate for the fifth time in the Oka Meridian Festival of National Cultures, which was held at the Prioksky Palace of Culture in Ryazan on February 18, 2024.
The practitioners set up a booth at the festival and told people what Falun Dafa is, including the guiding principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and how they benefited from practicing.
Practitioners introduced Falun Dafa during a cultural festival in Ryazan on February 18, 2024.
Svetlana said that more people were interested in learning about Falun Dafa this year. “I could tell they were sincerely interested and seeing hope from the depths of their hearts,” she said. “They understand the importance of cultivation practice, so this is very touching.”
Many people stopped at the booth to talk with practitioners and learn how practicing Falun Dafa can help their mental and physical health.
One woman described the challenges in her life. She had difficulty communicating with her child, and her husband was in poor health. When she heard how practitioners benefited from Falun Dafa, she was touched, and felt that the practice could help her family. “Practitioners are all shining, and I think this is not accidental. Falun Dafa must have brought them lots of positive changes!” she said.
One woman explained that during a previous festival, practitioners showed her how to make paper lotus flowers. She attended the event again and got a deeper understanding of Falun Dafa and its principles. She said, “I have a good understanding of the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. It is not easy to follow them.”
However, she said this was a challenge that she would like to undertake. “I would be very interested in learning the Falun Dafa exercises to improve my health,” she said.
